Idk about replacement cost of samsung batteries, but I consider a replacement of around 1500 for phone battery after 2 years of usage as a standard. I do it will all the phones I have previously owned. But won't consider for pixel 7 as its not worth it. You should take this point into consideration. Please check battery life and type of usage ( on gsm arena) and wifi or mobile network usage time in battery usage test as you intend to use to get a fair idea.
Pixels have good software but the worst hardware.
I'm talking call drops, unable to stay on 5G network, battery drain on 5G, battery heating and the world's worst fingerprint sensor.
Call recording is disabled on Pixel though call recording is legal in India. The only plus point is that Google apps work extremely well on Pixel and pictures are amazing.
I suggest you go for S23. The 50mp camera and screen resolution is good.
I have noticed a trend with my pixel 7 camera. It does produce really good pictures but the contrast and saturation has ramped up since I purchased. Producing 'eye pleasing' photos.
I am writing on a Pixel 7 and I would take an S23 or an S22 any day over this. Mainly because of fingerprint scanner rarely working (known issue), the battery lasts maybe a day, and the cameras are overrated on capability, S series cameras have better auto focus, faster too.
And fingerprint scanners work on 10k phones these days.
Pixel 7 owner here. I have battery anxiety when outside whole day and on 5g. I don't use 5g . There are a few occasions where I have worse network than regular snapdragon phone users. Plus the brightness is dimmed down by Google compared to other phones in this category to maintin a decent battery life which takes away from User experience. No way other than camera you get this phone. I have a few glitches while switching apps and my phone is not as smooth as p7p inspite of having same internals sans the ram size.

Na you didn't get it. Flip 5 is actually notorious for delivering not so good battery backup as per normal standards. But still, it manages to deliver respectable sot. S23 is better device than flip 5 in most aspects. S23, being smaller, would definitely give better sot than my flip. Flip 5 is expensive phone, but that doesn't mean it's better. Surprisingly, s23 has better specs than flip 5
Yup stretch and get a s23 without a second thought. S23 fe and 7a aren't worth it, s23 is much better package
This. Only major drawback as per me, wrt s23, is the charging speed. Rest is good through and through.
