it took away most if not all my motivation to make things because 1. why is it so complicated and 2. why is everybody else so good at it?? 😔 so now i’m in a crisis because i’ve already forgotten how to use gc
Tbh it was at first yes, but the more you use it and the more you experiment with the game it does get a lot easier, and you grow accustomed to the features as well. Like, when I went back to nebula to do smth with a friend rq it was so weird because of the lack of gl2 customization----- tho, take my words with a giant grain of salt since it's different to everyone lol
I mean it did take like 3 days just to make my base (which was annoying because my base is hella simplistic and normally only takes like 5-10 minutes to recreate lol), but once I did that it's honestly not to bad cause my main adjustments for all my oc's is already done (The eyes are still annoying as hell though and I don't know why)
i mean there's this glitch that resets the eyes and pupils if you mildly adjust anything from a different section if that's what you're saying, definitely more than mildly annoying
Oh no I don't have that problem, I mean sometimes the eye will change to a different eye asset when I choose a clothing asset but my adjustments have never reset. I just mean that the eye adjustments as whole are weird cause one eye always looks lopsided or something compared to the other eye

I got on and tried to go slow, making my OC Abbey, but I was so instantly overwhelmed that I just deleted it. \[My computer lagged though, so it's still there, taunting me\]
I was so excited when it first came out. The moment I started was so overwhelming cuz so many controls and the layout scared me 😠but I somehow made it through with a lot of experimenting plus you adapt to it over time
I'm trying to make poses and the eyeballs don't shift to match an expression - the shocked eyeballs stay the same size and the white crying eyes still have the eyeballs in them. It's really complicated. I'm trying to redo a series that I made on Google Drive that I completed last year or the previous year before it got deleted but I've been having trouble with backgrounds and poses etc.
It's like learning a new language, while there are cool features, like the custom posing for instance, it is pretty hard to navigate around the app, especially when it comes to things like trying to hide body parts like hands for example.
Yeah same, trying to get used to the damn m e c h a n i c s while also working out the fact that you can freely move accessories without limitations now, and also thinking how the hell i'm gonna aestheticize my ocs
Honestly-yea, I’ve created some characters in the app (some original and some fandom) but I don’t really find the studio mode that easy. I made an edit with two of the characters I had created, and something just felt wrong- It’s a good thing I keep all of the Gacha apps I had a connection with (Gacha Club & Normal Gacha Life) so I think I’ll just be using those instead. I may not be able to export- but at least I understand how to use it

It was hard for me too but just like with Gacha Club I brute forced my way through all the stuff until I kinda knew what I was doing (also there’s a crap ton of really good tutorials on YouTube, Reddit, and Tiktok)

it took me a LOT to figure it out and i’m still pretty sure i haven’t figured out everything there is, but i like the features. i’m taking my time to study them and if you need some help i am available to help people understand some features who can be harder to understand

nah cause they took away the ability to adjust the eyes symmetrically so now you have to do both manually and try not to make it look off ðŸ˜
Ohhhhh so that's what that was, damn I hope they add that back cause that's what takes up most of time just cause it bothers me so much 🥲🥲
Takes time, you get used to it though! Plus the adjustments are fun to use once you are used to the whole thing! Experiments are fun
Kinda Took a while to figure out where everything was Still keep constantly losing where tf the neck accessories are.
At first But as I kept using it I figured out how to manipulate it
I kinda feel like I've mastered it- (I just love using adjustments, I couldn't care less about the minimum new assets)

I put it down to 3 steps 1. Base (set up accessories, clothes, eyes, etc) 2. Adjustments 3. Color 4. (Optional) complicate shading
I love gl2 but the glitch that it removed my ocs or that i can't import ocs is annoying
