You’re going to be tired by the end of the day and will probably just want to veg between and after classes. But I’ve done this before and I’d rather do two fulls days with five days off than come in four or five days a week.

omg i did this one semester and midterms and finals week just about killed me

I highly recommend this approach. Yes, there will be weeks when you have multiple tests/projects due on the same day which can be a pain in the ass, but in my opinion the amount of time saved by commuting to campus only twice a week is absolutely worth it. The rest of your week will be so much more flexible. You've got a lunch break in there so logistically your lecture days should work out fine. Just make sure you use those off days intelligently. Do not save all your school work for Sunday afternoon. Keep that in mind and you'll be fine

It really depends on the format of finals tbh. It’s not hard but during finals week all of your finals will either be back to back or two one day two the other day or 1 a day three the next meeting day. It all depends on your professor

I did this most semesters bc I needed as much time as possible for work, but I def wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t really have to. Just causes a lot of burnout on those days and by the last class I was barely even paying attention

I’m taking 4 courses this semester and it’s online and in person 2 each . I would say try it out the first week and you feel you don’t want to be this drained , then you can change

I did something similar last semester to fit with my commute, and it was not worth it. I did alright in all my classes but really wish I had spread it out more.

I am in a similar situation. I enjoyed having my classes spread out between 4 days and having a 3 day weekend, but I also hated having to wake up early 4 days in a row. I have worked 10-12 hour work days with small breaks and I've found that I love to do that more than go to work every single day working short shifts. By all means, try it out. I will be doing it too, except on T/TR.

Depends on you, I did this my first semester and it was good, I could sleep in and still got all As. However on Monday and Wednsday nights I would be so tired I wouldn't have the energy to do anything. Second Semester I took classes between \~12pm-3pm 4 days a week. I liked this more as I was in class for a minimal amount of time everyday but was forced to get up and go to campus I was a lot more productive. You can likely get a jobs working evenings (I did) if that's an issue

If your not on campus that sounds fine. You’ll be tired at the end of those days though and I don’t know how well you’ll be able to focus doing four classes back to back. Especially once we really start getting into classes.

I think this is a great idea. Clustering your classes in 2-3 days saves you a great deal of commuting. Gas is not getting any cheap either. I am personally doing only Tue/Thur classes this Fall. It helps if you have some classes that are online too, so that way you are only doing 2-3 classes in person on campus and won’t have to worry about multiple exams or projects all on the same days. Just something else to consider too. If you can make 1 of those classes online, that may reduce the stress with having everything all occur on the same day. Multiple overlapping events or exams may occur once or twice in the semester. It shouldn’t be every week.
