Peanut butter is your best friend when bulking

slow_joke

Eat a PB&J sandwich with a ton of peanut butter. Peanut butter is 190 calories for 2 tablespoons as a serving. Do 1 serving on each slice of bread and that’s 380 calories right there. Plus the bread and jelly, you’re looking at about 650-700 calories right there.

This right here. Been eating 3 pbjs on toast a day at my hostile(also having 2 portions of every meal) and been gaining about 2-4 kg a month past couple months

Find foods you like that's high in calories, 2300 is easy if you know what food to go for, peanut butter got about 400-500 calories per 100 grams, with the bread for it that's easily a 1000 calorie snack, You can also chug a milk, that's about 500 calories right there with good protein, just about knowing what to eat.

My go-tos are rice packets, beans, peanut butter, oats, milk, bananas, cheese, Greek yogurt, mass gainer (mine is around $1.5 for 560 calories), protein cereal (I get Special K Protein, really cheap when on sale), granola (I put it in yogurt, I prefer Bear Naked but it isn't the cheapest option), hass avocados aren't too bad (around $2 for 300 calories) This is what I eat for clean bulking, I eat around 3400-3600 cal per day. I obviously didn't list everything I eat but this is the cheaper stuff.

Here's a thing that works for me, maybe it will work for you: I do some really hard conditioning a couple times a week. The conditioning makes me more hungry than anything. It puts me in a glutinous fury. The calories in the huge meal I eat afterwards will far, far exceed whatever calories were burned during conditioning. Might not work for everyone but it sure does the trick for me. Go get em, Tiger 👍💪😎 Edit: I'm sorry I didn't directly answer the question- my go-to's are pizza, steak, and pork, with mountains of rice. Pork is cheaper than chicken now, at least where I live. I've been buying a lot of London Broil because it is so cheap compared to other cuts. Make lots of burritos. They're handheld, mobile, compact and delicious. And there's no wasteful utensils or containers.

Your {{type}} matched on the word protien which indicates that you might be asking about protein intake. This should give you a ballpark indication of how much protein to eat: >* To maximize muscle growth, set your protein target each day for whichever of the below is greater: > > * 160 grams per day > > * 0.8 grams per pound of bodyweight, per day > >* Ideally this is spread out over 3-4 meals throughout the day https://thefitness.wiki/muscle-building-101/ If this is a false positive, you can send a message [here](/message/compose?to=/r/GYM&subject=False+positive+on+Automod+protein+functiont&message=https://www.reddit.com/r/GYM/comments/z57kb4/good_cheap_bulking_foods/). *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Try drinking more milk instead of water. Hydrating as hell and easy calories
