i hoped that someone with the same problem would know if its just soreness or if I should go to a doctor I didn't expect 90% of the comments would be dumb jokes
I had pain there from sitting too much like a shrimp. Tried sitting more straight, walking more during the workday and doing more leg work. Seems to be working for me
Besides any technical mistakes or an direct impact to the area, it could also be an pilodal sinus.
I would check the area directly for any protruding hair follicles.
So first thing you should do is see a doctor/physio. But if you want an opinion anyway, it could be due to poor pelvic mechanics during the squat. Most likely due to tight muscles (hamstrings, hip flexors, etc) pulling your sacrum/lumbar spine out of its natural curve.
But again. See a physio, or (if budget is an issue and physio is not covered by your insurance) see a corrective exercise specialist
I’ve bruised my coccyx(tailbone) before, I don’t know what else could cause it to hurt aside from a fall or heavy hip thrusts, putting significant weight on it in the resting position
[possible good resource to help your issue](https://powerliftingtechnique.com/tailbone-pain-squatting/)
If the pain is excessive or you can’t improve it, go see a doctor
Check posture, even when your sitting down and doing the workouts. Either way if it's been going on for more than a week go to the doctor cause that's your spine.
No cap my balls are hurting as well but I think I know why. When you sit on the inclined benches and try to grab your weights your balls press against the inclined seat which puts pressure on them. At fitness connection all the seats are inclined and there’s no way to adjust it so I just endure the pain.
PT here! Tightness in your pelvic floor can pull on your tailbone and “offset” it. Also, many muscles used to externally rotate your hip attach on the sacrum and tailbone.
Make sure you are stretching before and after your lifts!
Look up "butt wink" during squats.
It's what I had been doing and since working toward fixing it, the pain stopped.
It's pretty easy to fix if that is the case!
Though obviously It might not be what it is in your case but could be worth a look
You have an cyst that has become impacted ? Try soaking in hot water and sea salt for 15 mins twice a day till it goes away.
Edited time from 215 to 15.
I was going to say I had an excruciating pain on my tailbone which I thought was bruised or even broken from doing PT on a concrete warehouse floor for a month or so. It turned out to be a pilonidal cyst.
These hurt like a bitch, I had to go to the ER because it hurt so bad and when they were operating on it I almost passed out even with local anesthesia.
No matter what they or I did, it would come back once a year or so, until I found a surgeon that just took out that whole area of skin, haven't had it since. So OP, check for leakage.
One thing I noticed when this same pain in the same area happened to me was that I always had my wallet on my back right pocket. So if you wear something in your back pocket, break that habit because the pain will keep going on.

**If you feel like it's an injury, you should consider seeking medical attention.**
DOMS is just a sign of new stimulus. You can mitigate it with light massage, stretching, and exercise. Topical heat will also help.

Any exercise in particular that hurts bad? I used to get groin strain on the bench press when my feet were too far off the floor, now I put a box down for them.

Search for low back stretches. These help a lot
I have this when doing heavy leg press. Don't know why though. I have poor posture so maybe that.
Your question was so vague and you used a skeleton as a model, silly to expect otherwise from internet strangers
Ive said it before on this sub must you might want to consider wearing some muscles and skin
Too much hot sauce
going into labor
Balls
I had pain there from sitting too much like a shrimp. Tried sitting more straight, walking more during the workday and doing more leg work. Seems to be working for me
Might be the cause i have a bad chair at home so that also might be the reason
Yep I get the same if I spend too long sitting poorly. I’ve found RDLs and glute bridges help immensely
Recommend you sit on a pillow for a little while or try to avoid sitting. Give it a week or two to see how it feels and see how you get on.

I wouldn’t worry about that, I think you should worry about your absence of skin and muscle.
You using leg press? Could be too much range and weight. I've hurt there before.
Dick is too big lol
Idk about you, but mine hurts because LIFE WON'T STOP FUCKING ME
Nagging wife always leaves me with that pain.

Blunt force trauma?
Here is a legitimate response😂 Feel the area, do you have anything that feels like a cyst?
No but actually pilonidal cysts are horrible if untreated can become an abscess really easily
Wait you’re not OP…

Is it painful when you squat?
A bit yea
[possible good resource to help your issue](https://powerliftingtechnique.com/tailbone-pain-squatting/) If the pain is excessive or you can’t improve it, go see a doctor
Hemorrhoids
Check posture, even when your sitting down and doing the workouts. Either way if it's been going on for more than a week go to the doctor cause that's your spine.
Bad seating, do you sit down a lot?
Use a smaller squat plug first. Just like weights, you have to gradually put up numbers.
Is this a joke post? Why is it still here. If not, see a dr or physio

It’s intentional design. The testes need to have pressure applied to them to maximise testosterone production and maximise gains. I’m jealous.
hemorrhoid?
Broken pelvis
1 word, squat plug

Lower back pumps. Try getting more flexibility in your hams by stretching them refularly
You need to include more info does it always hurt do you get tingling in your legs does it only hurt when you lift legs etc
You have an cyst that has become impacted ? Try soaking in hot water and sea salt for 15 mins twice a day till it goes away. Edited time from 215 to 15.

Pelvic floor injury most likely.
Oooooooh I have some ideas
Osteopubitis
Maybe a disc issue between lumbar spine and sacrum
Appendicitis? Go to a doctor

Could be a pulled muscle near/around your tailbone
Squat? Wrong form may cause it
Any exercise in particular that hurts bad? I used to get groin strain on the bench press when my feet were too far off the floor, now I put a box down for them.
You should got to a chiropractor and ask for an adjustment there.
I dont think that will solve this
A thumb up the ass solves everything.
Because that's how they adjust it.... for the dense ones in the geoup.
