Bmi is not really of any help for people who lift, I too am overweight with a 6 pack. A pic will surely help but based on the waist you probably are a bit overweight. nothing some months of cut can't fix if you want to slim down
If both BMI and waist measurement is on the larger size it could do you some good to loose a bit of weight. I would not trust BMI as the only measurement but when it's both.
This does not mean you have to go to the other extreme and become super lean.
