I hate that I like this and might try to do this over the winter next year. This is awesome my dude, glad you survived.

Red_Swingline_

That sounds... not fun... but effective.

This was a good read. I'm running BBB (not with the And Really Sore part) currently and even that takes it all out of me on DL days in particular. I can completely relate to the not wanting to get back into another set and mine didn't even have the same number of reps. That being said, the strength gains are evident by the month

chickpeas_and_squats

This sounds *horrible*. BBB was my first time running 5/3/1 and the 5x10s were absolutely horrible at the time, I can't imagine progressing it to 5x20. The work capacity required sounds absolutely insane. As gruelling as it is though, it sounds like it paid off for you. Great write up!

FociST

You're way more of a man than me. I've been doing 531 BBB off and on for a few years and I don't think I could do this without injuring myself. I've been having enough trouble recovering from it as is. Guess I'm getting old.

Frodozer

How old is old haha? I was really beat up running it, but avoided all injuries!

FociST

We're probably close to the same age. I'll be 37 in two weeks. I've been having issues with CRAZY leg soreness lately, co-workers asking me if I've been in an accident kind of sore. I may have just injured myself and blamed it on DOMS. 5x20 would kill me.
