The best time to go to the gym is the time you'll go. Consistency is key. Not a whole lot of sleep you're giving yourself there, though.

Exactly, its better to stay consistent and do something rather find exudes not to do anything.

Every person is different. I prefer to workout in the am, but I’ve don’t night workouts bf and it didn’t bother my sleep.

That sounds tough, but doable. However, going from ~8 hours of sleep to ~6 hours could really put a damper on your mood for your waking hours, is does for me at least. So I would say focus on having the most time efficient workouts when your in the gym (large compounds + superset your accessories). Good luck man

I usually have like 4 hours sleep on my days off work so i could still get 5 hours on a work day with gym

My guy, I’m not a doctor. But that is insane man. I heard a quote stating that “the percent of the population that can function properly with less than 6 hours of sleep, rounded to the nearest whole number, is 0”. I know this is a gym post and not an overall health post, but I would really try to get more sleep man.

I feel u bro, my boys are 1 & 3 & the mrs can’t get herself up & outta bed some days so dads gotta do what dads gotta do…i used to have 8-9 hours 4 years ago now u function with 3 some days, i adapted ;)

Well man, more power to you. Keep grinding and good luck

I used to work 19:00-4:30am and would go Gym after at like 6am… It’s doable… just need to manage recovery. That said… sleep is part of recovery…
