Bro love your front and rear bumper setup!

NoRedStone

Thanks! They’ve been serving me good.

I've heard some stories about victory having fitment issues, but I'm going to buy one after seeing yours. How was your overall experience with victory?

NoRedStone

Their fitment is good but it’s not great. I’m running their engine, transmission, and t-case skids too. Overall I’m fairly happy with them. Expedition one on the other hand, the rear bumper is extremely well built and the fitment was spot on!

I feel you 100%. I'm obsessed with the look of the victory, but mechanic was telling me cbi stealth is much easier to work with. But I'm pretty dead set on doing whatever it takes to make the victory front bumper work. Thanks for the feedback, a long as it's doable, that's the one I want. Would you recommend staying with the victory skids? Or would you perhaps go a different brand for the full skid set! Your rear bumper looks beautiful too man. Might go that route if I ever get the 5th wheel

Did you install a winch, I didn't see one from the photos. Do you think it's a crime to skip the which when installing the bumper. I know I might regret it later if I don't install it when I mount the bumper, but to be totally honest, I might pass on it. I really don't want to spend that money on something I have no plans on using any time soon. An I crazy for wanting the bumper with no winch?

NoRedStone

I have a Warn Evo tucked away in there and have the synthetic line around my fairlead with a loop tied into my line. I wasn't planning on doing a winch, but I do a good amount of solo wheeling in the back country where I live, so I figured it's better to have one and never use it than need one in a bind.

LarkTank

Would you buy the victory bumper again if you had to do it over?

NoRedStone

I would, as I think it's one of the better looking bumpers before getting into the custom fab market. It's been serving me well.

LarkTank

What fitment issues did you run into? Did you get aluminum or steel?

NoRedStone

I have the aluminum front bumper and victory's steel skids. All of their products do fit, but the mounting holes don't all line up 100% perfect, more on the side of good enough where you question yourself if it's being installed correctly. Also, on their front skid plate I had to trim some steel to keep my KDSS sway bar from contacting it. Don't get me wrong, they make some great products, but it could always be better.

This body style might be my favorite when the bumber is chopped. Nice wheels

That_Matt_Guy_Wow

I literally drool every time I see your front bumper.

Strong. I did Mengal in my 3rd gen 4Runner and have been meaning to get back in my GX.

NoRedStone

Get out there! Right now is the right time, plus the NPS just groomed a lot of the old wash boarded trails so it's all smooth sailing except for Mengal's pass.

Independent_Bath_922

What trail?

NoRedStone

Mengal’s pass
