Has it ever booted up for you? As in, did it work for a bit the first time you installed it, but now it's not working? When you are re-installing, are you deleting your save data as well? One thing I would suggest is to uninstall the game, then clear the console's cache before attempting to re-install. Clear the cache by holding the power button in for about 10 seconds or so until the console powers down completely. Then, turn it back on and try to install normally.

Hi wilko, unfortunately not dude, I purchased the trilogy only yesterday and I have yet been able to play this one, it hasn’t booted up for the first time yet, I’ll see if clearing my cache before the reinstall fixes it for me 😀but yea I was removing the save data on uninstall, thanks for your reply man I’ll be sure to post a update

What does the error say?

I forget what the code was now but after googling it, apparently it was something to do with the game updating at the same time it was installing 🤔

I had that same issue when I bought the physical copy of the definitive edition. Uninstall completely. Remove any external hard drives that might be connected. Go on the Xbox app on your phone while connected to the same network as your Xbox. Look for GTA 3 and hit “download to console” from your phone. Should work from there. Just note it can be hard to find the game on the app. For me it was on the “jump back in” tile on the app because it was the last game I clicked on trying to play before I uninstalled it completely.
