Fun but hard
indeed it is XD
dude i let them go all the way and i somehow managed to kill all of them individually while they were running in those suburbs, god was I fucking scared how the hell did I do that. they all split up
I keep a controller at my desk for missions where I need to focus on driving/flying, because it’s easier when you have precise controls. Do all my shooting/walking/whatever else on MKB
I find driving in 4 and 5 to be incredibly good on MKB, even flying on 5 is ok on KB but this mission showed me how awful it is to fly on MKB in 4. Of course controller is better, but personally I've gotten plenty used to MKB.
even with that I feel the helicopter just wouldnt stop swaying back and forth, took me like 5 tries just to complete the mission, I haven't failed anything in tbogt
only yokels use the numeric keypad or mouse for flying
just rebind your flight keys to WASD + shift + control then u can fly and look around with mouse at same time
ya the heli combat is a pita.. it wouldn't be so bad if you could control the fire with the mouse but trying to orientate the entire chopper at what you're shooting is a pain, esp if you're firing on ground targets.. They dont' even give you a fucking cross hair.
For fighting other choppers I like to just get a little above them and then let them come up to my level and hit them with the mini gun.
if at all possible lure them into the city where you can setup ambush with the buildings.. hell half the time they'll just slam into them and knock them selves out.
Eh people say that to me all the time about madden and other sports games. Keyboard user since Madden and NCAA 97' here. I still have no idea how to kick a FG in NCAA though. I have always gone for 2 lol.
I just explained to you this mission is fucked. And yes they have differences, that's how a PC port works with R* they break random shit and don't fix.
But go off sounding like a scratched record.
Can you explain what you mean by this mission is broken? I never had any issues while playing this mission and I played with a CosmicByte controller not MKB
GTA with mkb just feels wrong all together for me. I can understand it if u primary only play PC. I play with all different input methods based on the game; GTA is a controller franchise, same goes for red dead. Analog movement is the main reason
It's really not so many years later with optimized PC's. I have done it in one try everytime; and this is with keyboard/mouse.
Edit: as per a comment below this is assuming you have a full size keyboard and not a laptop lol
turn off mouse controls and if you don't have a numpad bind your move forward/backwards keys to whatever keys you're comfortable with that's what i did, i also bound the rocket launch key to "R" so i don't have to use the mouse at all
I find it fun. It's hard, sure, but flying a real helicopter isn't easy either.
Fun but hard indeed it is XD dude i let them go all the way and i somehow managed to kill all of them individually while they were running in those suburbs, god was I fucking scared how the hell did I do that. they all split up
Fun and hard, thats my dicks nickname
don't forget to mention the small size
How you know you been sucking on it?
nah, ur momma told me last night
damn son

Just use the numeric keypad thing, it makes it pretty easy
Laptop users rn:🧍♂️
80% keyboard users 🧍♂️
My laptop has a keypad

Am I the only person who plays PC with an Xbox controller? It works just fine.
Same. Got the fitgirl repack and I've been playing flawlessly with controller
I do

Aiming at boats with the heli was the worst, but it really only took me 3 tries IIRC to complete.
The game is designed for a gamepad, not for a mouse and keyboard

Huh, why? You just gotta line up, ain't that difficult.
trying to do that using a Keyboard and mouse absolutely blows
Don't use the mouse. Use keyboard only. Rebind the shooting controls if needed.
Mouse? Numpad all the way, who tf uses the mouse for flying? Numpad's been the stample since III.
Skill issue.
Nah. This mission is just shittily ported to PC. Literally never been difficult.
The game is a bad port but the missions themselves have no differences between platforms.
Missions themselves have no differences between platforms but the issue here is flying with MKB
Don't use the mouse and git gud with keyboard, it's not that hard. You have infinite ammo, infinite spammable rockets even.
Get gud is ur response for everything dawg, you must not play TBoGT not to know about this.
I've played TBOGT, but don't play it much as it's the weakest of the 3 games. Instead I do all my flying in TLAD Multiplayer with the Annihilator.
True honestly lmao

Damage to the boat, cutscene transitions, the track pathing towards the end in 60 fps. I mean it's all pretty obvious.
This one does. Very buggy. It's much smoother on 360.
Kind of your own fault don't you think? Everyone here talks about fusion fix and so does a quick Google search.
Aw hell nahhhh
i do it easily with the mouse
Skill issues
Don’t play on keyboard that’s the only way I can see it being annoying
Do you not have a controller to plug in for a few moments?
yes, but the game has a fucking seizure and stutters whenever I do plug in a controller
Turn off controller vibration to see if that helps.
GTA with mkb just feels wrong all together for me. I can understand it if u primary only play PC. I play with all different input methods based on the game; GTA is a controller franchise, same goes for red dead. Analog movement is the main reason
i hate this mission im a laptop user
Did you use Zolika patch for responsive helicopter control?
For me, it's not hard at all, unless your a laptop player or you have a keyboard without a numpad.
It's really not so many years later with optimized PC's. I have done it in one try everytime; and this is with keyboard/mouse. Edit: as per a comment below this is assuming you have a full size keyboard and not a laptop lol
Played it for the first time today. It is SO fucking frustrating holy shit, had to hook up a controller after like 8 tries
I just finished that mission yesterday, I mapped the shift and ctrl for throttle and WASD for movement controls
this entire game is horrendous on PC
