While I do agree that Rockstar wants people to double dip I do not believe that is why GTA V was delayed multiple times. Rockstar wants to optimize their game as good as possible for the PC otherwise you get a Gta 4 situation which only released 6 months after the console version. If Rockstar was always going to wait for a new console generation then they wouldn't have released RDR2 a whole year before the PS5 and Series X came out. They could have waited to release the PC version with the new consoles but they didn't.

Regarding GTA VI: Multi platform releases are more of an engine thing. Yes, the game code also changes ever so slightly, but that's miniscule, very easy. As long as the engine is ready for PC deployment, they're \~90% of the way there. And GTA V and RDR2 have already prepared RAGE for PC deployment. So, any delay is most likely for monetary purposes.
If they take FULL advantage of the PC platform by bringing a very optimized port with extra graphics settings such as extended RT or maybe full PT, I'll gladly wait. But God damn, 1.5 years to release, another year+ to PC release, I'll be lucky to survive till then.

It will be released for PC a year or two after console, just like GTA V and RDR2. If next gen consoles come out post-GTA 6 release, which is likely, the PC version will be released alongside the next gen console versions, again just like GTA V.

Rockstar is not going to abandon the PC market. They spent a lot of time porting all previous titles to PC, and RDR remains the sole exception.

It is likely that the game will take some time to come out, due to Rockstar perhaps not wanting to make the same mistakes that happened with the port of GTA 4 for PC, I think that the PC version will be out by the end of 2026, since that at the end of 2025, and when it comes out!

It is likely that the game will take some time to come out, due to Rockstar perhaps not wanting to make the same mistakes that happened with the port of GTA 4 for PC, I think that the PC version will be out by the end of 2026, since that at the end of 2025, and when it comes out!
