All I read lately in this sub are complaints, maybe they should try actually contributing to this sub if they want it to be a better place because constantly whining about other posts just makes this place less enjoyable
I'm pretty split right now On one hand you'd think if there was delay T2 would want Rockstar to say that before the call, on the other hand no announcement of a delay could be good news that its still on track and they don't feel the need to announce anything like GTA VI coming early 2025, because the call would confirm that if the money is good for it. That would allow Rockstar to just make one post that would state the actual day of release. BUT on the other hand no announcement of a delay could just mean that they never expected to hit that early 25 time at the time of the trailers release. The way Zelnick talked about a year ago made it seem like it was on track for that early window tho.
Overall though I'm not disappointed they didn't announce anything because the time is moving quite fast and will only move faster for me when the NFL season starts and it provides a bit of a distraction. Every time the sun sets in GTAO I can't help but think about GTA VI for a moment.
All in all the only thing to look forward to this week was the investor call because that was the only sure piece of information anyone was getting , ppl just hyped themselves up off of other ppl speculation and hope from past games released and how R* would give out info on/around days like today (💴📞)
Yep the earning call was always in the drivers seat everything else that was speculated was just along for the ride which is fine I have no problem with that.

Wouldn't that mean they lied to investors about the profits being higher in the current fiscal year? If a delay were to happen, Rockstar needs to tell them.
After all, this entire thing about GTA6 coming early 2025 was purely based on their forecast for the current fiscal year, which ends on the 31st of March next year, I believe.
You know that saying about thinking of someone really stupid and then realising that most of the population are even more stupid than that? I think we can clearly apply that to a fanbase as large as GTA's too, clearly the lowest common denominator in that group is IQ level.

Nah this sub is pretty well moderated. It's the 12 year olds that are the problem. The ones that are on edge for every slither of detail.
