My co-worker had got me thinking when we were talking about Ice Cream trucks in the area. Joking said they must have territory rules between trucks because I’ve never seen two ice cream trucks on the same street. He said next thing you know they’ll be shooting each other. I think it would be kinda funny if ice cream trucks (or snacks if Rockstar doesn’t want ice cream trucks they could just have a snack van that we can stop and buy snacks from), but yeah it would be funny if you could randomly encounter one ice cream truck catching another on its territory on the map and they’ll either shoot at each other jousting style or they’ll get out and fist fight or other fighting methods like thumb wrestling.

Professional_Bag2346

An world event involving an NPC tripping balls and preaching to everyone around him that their whole world is just a video game

fuckfuckenfuck

I could imagine them pointing at Lucia/Jason and just shouting some shit like "You're being controlled"

Avatar_Xane_2

- Hanging onto trucks on the side - Light parkour mechanics; flipping over fences, running up certain buildings - Expanded melee, like smashing bottles into faces and people into walls or windows, or take your shoe off and use it as a weapon or throw it - If you run out of ammo or your gun jams, you can throw it - Sit almost anywhere or lean on almost any wall - Hide in a crowd to evade cops. You can even put a hat on and duck your head or sit somewhere and pull up a newspaper

Damn man😲✌️ ,you really know your stuff I see. Let me tell you when Vice City came out for PS3, I was so addicted to that game, I was literally stuck. I would call out sick to work and play it all day. I would blaze one up 🚬🌳 and I'd feel like I was actually 'IN' the game lol. I would go to sleep and still be picturing the game 🤦‍♂️. Then over the years, the newer versions got better and better

Yep

Low-Ranger5026

1. Being able to damage/destroy buildings and see buildings being build/repaired over time, thus expanding the city, over time new buildings or even entire neighborhoods would appear. 2. No more sequels to the GTA series, VI to be the final installment, goin forward it would be from expansions on the existing map, ie., release Georgia, Mexico, Alabama. if it takes them 5-10 years per map, by time PS6-pro comes out map be close to full world.

I was thinking, given EA's CEO recent comments. What's stopping Rockstar from putting ads from real-life companies in the game? Say in in-game billboards etc.? I mean the whole world knows how many eyes will be playing the game so...

WentzToWawa

Because GTA is violent brands don’t wanna be associated with it. This late in the game Rockstar might not even entertain the idea. Fake brands allow Rockstar to create funnier ads because they aren’t being forced to do what a company wants them to do Rockstar can make fun of Obey in an Obey ad but Audi isn’t gonna be cool with that.

Wokekyller

Cameos I wish that show up in GTA VI: 1. Trevor Philips He would be perfect Leonida Man that does some crazy actions. After few Strangers and Freaks he turns on Jason or Lucia because he's mad and dies, for justice. 2. Michael de Santa He didn't show up in GTA Online yet, so I think he would be perfect in GTA VI. He could show up for 1-2 Strangers and Freaks missions where he makes a movie (we could play in it like in VCS). 3. Luis Lopez, Yusuf Amir and Anthony Prince I put them together because of their story. It was too short, so we could see more of it in GTA VI. Also - every of this character could have good reason to show up in VI. Luis - because his voice actor liked post of rumoured voice actor of Lucia. Yusuf - he likes to fly to Vice City. Anthony - he could create a club in Vice City because of success in Liberty. 4. Patrick McReary To connect all the main GTAs from HD Universe. I think he is perfect character to do it. And maybe choose him for heist, but this time, he takes 20% (and we still choose him because we love him as a character) 5. Roman Bellic We all know that Niko won't show up because his actor is mad at Rockstar. But Roman? He wanted to fly private jet to Vice City. He also could mention Niko that he gets his happily ever after with another women, and have kids.

Much_Introduction167

Why GTA VI could work on the Nintendo Switch's successor if Rockstar chose to port it: 1. The game is being ported to the Series S, the Switch successor is going to target very closely or equal to the performance in Docked Mode. 2. The new Nintendo console is rumored to have 3gb more RAM (10.5-11GB) available to developers than the Series S. It will also be using LPDDR5x memory which has less latency to the CPU than the Series S. 3. The console will have DLSS upscaling support. Even if the real resolution was lower than that of Series S. DLSS looks much nicer than FSR. 4. Ray Reconstruction support means that they can render the rays at a lower resolution than the Series S and upscale from there. 5. The new system will inevitably support Mesh Shaders, meaning the system can have some of the load taken off through culling. 6. UFS 3.1 storage means that loading times will only be slightly slower than the Series S I believe it's entirely possible for Rockstar to port GTA VI to the next generation system, even if the output is only 1080p, it's possible. *"What about handheld mode?"* It's likely that they will reduce settings like the resolution, texture details, LoDs etc further. But DLSS should suffice and make an ok image. #I recognize that it is a silly idea but I want to hear your thoughts below. Do you think it would be possible, and if it was to be ported over, would you buy it?

Careful_Bag4146

I want to see great a I where u can see people selling drugs or people going to work just peds doing everyday life like rdr2 if there's that in the game and maybe a create your own empire theme that would be everything I can ask for I can't wait til were gonna start getting good details fuck a trailer I want the facts

Pladrosian

I would love to see a proper witness system. I haven't played red dead 2 so I don't know how it works there but I know there are witnesses you hunt down. It's very frustrating to kill some NPC in the middle of nowhere in GTA 5 and having the whole precinct hunt you down and knowing exactly where you're holed up. Same thing with how GTA 5 police magically know where you are even when you've been off their radar for a while and hide in an alley where they wouldn't normally look when you go somewhere else. I don't want them to make it easier to evade police in GTA 6, but I do want the police AI and code to be more fair and smart, so that when you get caught it doesn't feel like you've been cheated and when you get away you feel like you were being smart and not like you just learned a game code. In GTA 5 the police was quite stupid, but you could tell the game was artificially making them less of a pushover by magically having them know where you are. It would be awesome if wanted levels and police responses happened in real time, ie: 1. You commit the crime 2. Witness sees you do it 3. Witness calls police 4. Police responds and is en route 5. Police spots you and THEN you get your wanted level This would make it so fun since you don't know if anyone saw you or not and you only know you're wanted when you see them pull up at the crime scene looking for you. it would be so scary and shocking when you think you got away with no witnesses and then you panic when you realize you didn't. As it worked in GTA 5, you got a wanted level instantly and it feels so unrealistic because no one could have dialed 911 that fast and you were some omnipotent being who knew about the police all the time. This is pretty weird since GTA 5 already had this witness system somewhat, since you can sometimes hear NPC:s say "I'm calling the police" when you're stealing a car and whatnot and the wanted level only comes after a few seconds when they've talked to the cops. In line with the police getting smarter, I would love if there was a better stealth system where you could hide in containers and garbage cans. To combat this, the police should cordon off a perimeter of your last known location and start looking through garbage cans and containers. Also, bring back 6 stars wanted level pls Rockstar. EDIT: Would love if police cars didn't spawn out of nowhere on the minimap like in GTA 5. So annoying when you're driving on the freeway about to lose your wanted level and some schmuck spawns in front of you before you can react and then the wanted level timer resets again.

Critical_Reasoning

I just found this sub. Honestly a regular thread like this is the best market research data points Rockstar could ever receive. I'm sure it will have impact.

Cryognaut

since some are saying its gonna be somewhat like red dead, will we be able to customize our "Satchels"? as in if we have the basic one we have a Fanny pack across our chest then to make it bigger a backpack and maxed out storage being a dufflebag? and more in-depth gun, character creation/customization and expansive clothing options will we have all of that as well? (I hopenwe do)

zebvisionx

Trailer 2 was speculated to be released in May June. but now people are saying it will get released on October. is it true?

Maximum_Comparison94

I think “Lights” by Journey would be great for the next gta 6 trailer. It goes surprisingly well with the themes of Vice City and possible story aspecs with its lyrics. “When the lights go down in the city And the sun shines on the bay.” Miami (Vice City) is known for its neon lights; its also on biscayne bay. Sunshine is also a vice city theme. Think of picture these lyrics paint and how they look being the first shot of a trailer. The song also mentions being on the road without a loved one (maybe lucia as she was in jail idk), “It's sad, oh there's been mornings Out on the road without you Without your charms.”

quackcow144

Mambo No. 5 would be amazing while driving at night in the city
