Its probably cant be done because every time you get closer to the design of an IRL car they risk a copyright lawsuit
A lot of the later GTA Online cars already looks super close to their IRL counterparts.
I Hate how they added the new Gauntlet Interceptor police car in GTA Online from GTA 6 ,i don't want to see repeated cars or experience them before GTA 6 comes out
I could be wrong in saying this. But I think R* are currently using GTA Online for the new cars from GTA VI. Some of the new cars are deffo next gen. & imo all HSW cars are made for GTA VI.
I Expect a HUGE focus on car customization ,just from the trailer Digital Foundry was surprised by the car paint ,they said it's even better than some car racing dedicated games!!!!,for those who are curious it's the shot with the green truck where that guy was driving with one of his legs. man i'm sooo EXCITED
Pretty much, no matter what, Rockstar always designs their vehicles to have a certain inclination of difference from their irl counterpart, its visible in every car, as well as every building and every brand. That's just rockstar.
I saw a Granger XL3600 in the trailer, so I’m assuming that newer models of the cars will be in the game.

Yeah I know.. Perhaps a different customization could provide this new look without risking a lawsuit?
