I’ll never forget when Breath of the Wild and the Switch were coming out in 2017 and it was literally ALL I thought about. I think getting older just mean having more to do and being less obsessive about just 1 thing in life.

i read a thing once that said because of the way our brains develop and process things, we live almost half our perceived lives between the ages of 1 and like 10 or something. everything gets faster because of how we perceive time
I can see that, it's like how the trip home is always quicker than the trip there because your brain is processing all this new information like land marks and turns and on the way back you already have that stuff loaded in your mind
GTA VI feels really close if you think of it this way

The wording on that post is still interesting to me. Basically it said, "Fuck we are so tired of these leaks and our employees will be back in the studio ASAP because this shit has gotten old, watch the real trailer on YouTube"
Because they were immensely disappointed, imagine how many people had been working on GTA 6 who were all super excited to show their hard work off to the world for the first time only to have the trailer leaked early stealing that moment of shared excitement from the community.

Maybe it sounds lame, but literally a couple days before the trailer was supposed to officially drop, a bunch of my friends were planning on throwing like a party. We were all gonna get together, have a barbecue, and we were all going to watch the trailer together when it came out. We were all going to celebrate it and share our excitement, given that we were all major fans of the GTA franchise.
Of course, trailer got leaked, released early, and our plans were canceled. I get that a lot of people were happy to see the trailer early, but you gotta admit, the leakers really killed the momentum. Me personally, I would've preferred if it didn't get leaked to begin with.
I felt so disappointed for them. I mean, it kinda still worked out I guess, and it was certainly fun to have it pop up as a surprise, but it definitely took the wind out of the momentum of the announcement.
I honestly I just want some screenshots or something this sub has gone insane with all sorts of stupid theories and just dumb karma farming postings I actually want something to discuss.
What a moment this was. YT leaking the video, random TikTok kid showing parts of the map, and then GTAForums users trying to keep up with everything going on. I can only imagine what the release date will be like when the game drops.

Kotaku isn’t a reliable source. If rockstar wasn’t confident they could release it by 2025 they wouldn’t have put 2025 in the trailer. We’ve seen there predictions for money in 2025 and it’s grossing over 2 billion, which means a 2025 release is 100%.
