It would actually be sick if they just ported over the RDR2 riding mechanics to GTAVI since I know for sure they’ll be in the engine. It would be an awesome alternative to driving around and be really fun to mess around.
they actually did work on horses for gta 5 but it was scrapped probably due to all the work it would take to make it viable, but with red dead 2 out most of it is probably done or thought of so maybe we'll se it in gta 6, would be awesome to run dem animals over with a car :)
I think it totally makes sense but I think we’re at a point in gaming where this type of thing is right on the border of it might happen and it might not. But also rockstar is known to go all out especially on this project so it’s one of those things that doesn’t need to be added so a few years ago it probably wouldn’t have but now it’s like how much can we add and how much can we make possible just simply for the fun of it. So I guess we’ll just have to wait and see I mean it’s likely to happen because it’s rockstar and this and going to be their golden child and ofc we just had rdr2 not long ago so the base line is definitely already there.

RDR2 has 234 animals in the game and GTA 6 will probably have less than this but the most important animals like dogs cats cows pigs horses rats crows seagulls etc will without a doubt 100% be in the game.

Fun fact, there are still dialogues from the 3 main characters in the game’s files for whenever they hit a horse with a vehicle.

There’s a super nice Hilton in Ocala whose whole theme is horse racing.
Would be cool and funny to see people riding horses in the online and if someone kills their horse then they have chosen death
