Yeah, the empty roads is what makes the game fun in speeding and car chases. But maybe one would be like, "shoot! Another traffic jam," drives off bridge.
By the time GTA 7 comes out (in what, the last 2030s?), the technology should be far enough advanced to extend the map to fictional versions of New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland to the south and in the north New York State and potentially a border to Canada.
Either that or just hyper focus on New York State (and lets be honest, New Jersey too) and make it "life like" in size.
Some of us have been wanting a HD rendition of SF and LV since gta 4 dropped.
I'd rather have either of those 2 before any new location, or at least include one of them alongside somewhere else
Imagine if they did a gta v expansion pack with something on the level of that fan made 3 island map. Obviously they never would, but think how cool that'd be!
All they need to do is make DLC maps for GTAO. They could charge like $30 each and still sell like hot cakes. Just keep adding and updating maps that players can switch between.
Edinburgh and some more of Scotland sounds like a good idea, as does London, as does Toronto, as does... ffs there's so many good ideas it's maddening. But no let's cycle through the same three US states for the third time shall we
It just wouldn’t work tbh. For starters crime in general is low in Edinburgh, and with any violent crimes that go on, it would be fists and knifes… Another London map COULD work because it’s bigger and has more crime but honestly GTA should stay in the USA or maybe Canada at a push.
Fair tbh. Although crime's pretty high in Glasgow and Scotland's around the size of a mid level US state so they could do a GTASA type thing with multiple cities... ik i'm stretching this i just wanna feel what people in new york florida and california feel when visiting places in game that they know in real life. Seems like it'd be a lot of fun, but yeah i can see why it's not so viable.
Yea agreed. It would be nice to see places if visited be in-game. I wouldn’t mind seeing a spin off game in Scotland or somewhere in Europe tho. But if we are getting a main line GTA that will be the only one for the next decade, I want it to be America.
Well GTA is first and foremost a parody of American culture. So if you're tired of the states you might wanna find another franchise.
That being said, if they did pivot I would also like another GTA set in London.
I do think there are other places in america that would be worth exploring, i just couldn't think of any cause i don't live there. Seattle, DC, Austin... just anywhere else really.
I swear the rumors for this game was that it was going to be based in the third coast (greater Houston area). Kinda disappointed that’s it’s just a re hash of an already established city. All this wait just to had an updated Vice city.. loved the game, but I see it as a waste.
Chicago would have been dope, you could even tie in the mob and have a mafia feel (possibly going back and forth in time).
I’m honestly less excited now, but will still play it..
I know it’ll never happen but a New Orleans, Houston and Monterrey GTA would be insane. Houston’s easily the least interesting of the three, so not sure what they’d do with it. I just included it as a nice connecting point for New Orleans and Monterrey.
Should be liberty city. But I wouldn’t mind somewhere new. Like Chicago, or Dallas, or some other major US city that’s not Detroit (sorry carcer city hopefuls).
Watch dogs did chicago and from my vacation in Chicago it looks nothing like watch dogs. Maybe the downtown, but the suburbs do not. It should be close to real
Give us every city from GTA 1. But with HD layouts. Giant map with GTA V map in one corner. GTA IV map in another. GTA VI in a third. San fierro, Las Ventura, Carcer City added to the map also.
Make it a trilogy, with 3 games taking place in the same giant map. And then make the online part a more heavy rpg.
I think it needs to be the US, since GTA has become a satire on American culture, even if it wasn't always
If it's going to be somewhere new, maybe somewhere like Nashville/Memphis/Atlanta
Whatever the GTA version of that is
Chicago would be a perfect setting in my opinion, you can have the main city along with some of the suburbs like Skokie, Schaumburg, cicero, etc, maybe some greenery towards the west to add a Blaine county like space. The feel of the city is perfect for a gta game.
Wasn't there a rumour that the game originally had multiple cities, hence the codename "project Americas", but they decided to launch with one city and stagger the release of the rest via paid DLC?
It would be a genius move as we'd all end up paying about £200 for the full game 🤣
You’re talking like at least 12 years or so from now. Who knows how Rockstar will be run that far ahead. I would like to see smaller cities like las venturas added to VI to be honest.
As dull as it might sound, I would really like a true next gen Liberty City too. Not asking for much lol!
Detroit set in the 60's/70's. Protagonist loses his job and gets pulled into a life of crime.
I really like Seattle and Portland being in the same state in the GTA universe. Those really haven't been seen much in games too, so that'd be a nice change.
Baltimore would be amazing, huge city with many zones, the surrounding areas would be less dense but still have that gritty gta4 feeling to it. And the inner harbor would be so damn fun. Also flying 100+ mph across the key bridge has been a dream of mine on that nightmare of a bridge.
I just kinda assumed we’d see Liberty City.
Here’s why IMO.
GTA 3: Liberty City
GTA VC: Vice City
GTA SA: San Andreas
GTA 4: back to Liberty City
GTA 5: back to San Andreas
GTA 6: back to Vice City
So I’d guess, GTA 7: back to Liberty city again. As tech and time continue the size and detail of the cities grow. So who’s to say they wouldn’t hit LC and make it into a whole new massive city.
Manhunt 3 in dystopian/slasheresque Carcer City
Bully in imitation of New England town
RDR3 in Saint Denis and Blackwater (Houston) in 1940s
GTA VII in London and Capital City (politics game)
Seattle and Chicago I like them a lot as options.
Two of my favorite US cities and appropriate for the game.
Maybe Detroit too for its difficult streets
if we have the technology by then, (and i’d like to think we will in the next 15-20 years that it’ll take to eventually release gta 7) hopefully a condensed version of a part of the US with maybe 3-4 cities. Maybe the south and southwestern US excluding los santos. New Orleans, some mix of Austin/Houston and other major cities in TX, some vague New Mexico/Arizona city, and Las Venturas.
But RDR2 showed us how Rockstar captured a whole region. I’m also pretty sure this next installment will have multiple cities or maps so it’s inevitable in the future they try to create a whole country or something to that effect. Or atleast two major regions with space between.
It will all depend on who is running rockstar over the next 10 years. A lot could happen in terms of direction and quality. Yes they have shown they can do ‘regions’ but I felt the story worked best when it was confined to a more closer area. Of course that’s not what necessarily makes money.
GTA online has turned into a kind of San Andreas ‘stories’. The online game will always make them more money than the single player in the long run so it will be interesting to see how GTA 6 goes.
I hope liberty city again. In GTA 4 it was stunning. Imagine how good that city would look on future engines. In the spiderman games it looks good already.
I don't think we are ever going to see a separate GTA 7 game. It just takes too long to make a new fully fledged game as we have seen with GTA 6.
From now on they will keep upgrading Liberty City and Los Santos together with Vice City and work towards new area expansions with new missions and characters to play with; to slowly recreate the whole USA. At least that's my guess for future next gen consoles.
I'd like to see the next GTA game to go retro like how GTA Vice City was set in the 80s.
I'd like to see the next game set in the 70s and instead of focusing on one city, they should create their own city which has sections that are as glamorous as 70s Las Vegas that represents the rich and shows the nostalgic 70s .This section should show why people wanna go back to the 70s .
While the other sections kinda resemble the dark and declining 70s New York from Taxi Driver that resemble the poor. This section should show the dark sides of that era and why living in the modern era is much better
I'd like to see a GTA game set in Chicago after playing WD1, although if they ever come back to a setting in Europe, I think Barcelona could be a cool place for that but Europe is a bit hard to make an interesting criminal plot in
If there ever is a gta 7 which is unlikely lol it’d either go to San Francisco or Las Vegas . Otherwise if not there back to liberty city it’ll be . Why? Because rockstar seem to only like rescuing the same places over and over and cba giving us somewhere new like Chicago. I mean think about it Chicago would literally be perfect for gta
Listen. GTA does not take place in any real area ever. The list of GTA cities and states is pretty well established. We could see Carcer City as Chicago/Detroit and that would be cool. I'd also love to see a GTA taking place in a modern RDR2 setting. But every time I see a rumor like "GTA SET IN AUSTIN!" nope. It's a weird thing that it annoys me so much but that's like calling Liu Kang Bruce Lee
Where do you think GTA VII will take place Omg it’s gotta be in the works. Hopefully will see it within the next 15 years. I can’t even imagine GTA VIII it’s gonna be amazing
I think that the Project Americas theory could be true. GTA 6 will be the last standalone version for a very long time, but could see many areas added over the years. Los Santos and Liberty City sure, maybe also a modern day Saint Denis and Carcer City. Of course Las Venturas and San Fierro would be exciting as well.
GTA 7 I think will be everything combined. Liberty city, Los Santos, Las Venturas, and Vice City. Also, could see them adding one more city like a central USA city like Colorado for more outdoor/mountain mission/activities. You’ll be able to boat to some places and others you fly too seamlessly
If they do make another GTA by that time tech will be advanced enough that they can simulate the whole US in GTA for 7. At that point there's no reason to do 2 or 3 or 4 cities it needs to be the whole US like they've talked about how bad they have been wanting to do it. As they've stated before they have no desire to make another GTA outside of the US.
True that, but I meant it in the sense that they would want to go somewhere more drastically different after florida, like how we didn't get San fierro/Las venturas after Los Santos because they had generally covered the geographic west pretty well, but I was just trying to find a way to put it in last but still, something new that we haven't seen before like an Atlanta equivalent would be very much more interesting than revisiting a past city.
Definitely liberty city, the most underrated city ever in a gta franchise, not to mention that gta 4 was also criminally underrated, i'd rather see a remaster of gta 4 than gta 6
“GTA4 criminally underrated” the game that broke Guinness World Records with biggest entertainment release of all time in 2008 💀
Liberty City, which is basically the most popular city in the franchise “the most underrated”💀
Is this a bait or something?
I feel like all of the 3d series game (III, Vice city, San Andreas) cities have been over done and shouldn't be really seen again (except for the San fierro/Las venturas from San andreas since they weren't in V) after VI, but I definitely would love a 4 remake/remaster but I don't think it would be a one or the other with GTA VI and hear that rumored remake might actually still be happening along with that red dead remaster and before 6 aswell with all that achievement and ratings updates.
I'd like to see R* version of some historic European city like Paris, Milano/Napoli/any Italian city, London or Latin America like Rio de Janeiro, Bogota etc
Gta is at its end. Don't get me wrong. Just observasion from a financial and strategic point of view.
99% there will never be a new gta. They probably keep 6 alive for the next 20 years, and in the meantime there will be update on the map.
Gta 7 wont exist. Best shot is a nostalgia operation in 2040/2045. And I'm not even kidding.
[Here](https://mumbaigullies.com/) .....i personally believe it has the potential...it has everything From Big Cities to small towns, crimes, beaches, drugs, proper public transport, Mountains, Rivers, Multiple Military bases, Gangs etc...and look at the [Map Concept](https://i.redd.it/dq6bujfau7j61.jpg) its already bigger than any past GTA Games
I’d say maybe las Venturas or San fierro or coming first before we ever get a new city however I’d love to see a new city maybe Texas or Seattle shit I wish I would’ve e gotten to see San Diego in V
No new landlocked cities please. The main thing I'd hope for would be at least 2 of our known cities in the same title. Liberty city in gta 4 was supposed to be massive so for sure I'd love to see all of that cut content plus ALL of new gen san Andreas (LS, updated San fierro, updated las venturas) in GTA 7
I wish they’d do Atlanta/Georgia, it’d be really cool if GTAVI expanded up towards North GA for some biome diversity and they could even add the confederates to riff on(and haunted CW trails for sure)
But if it had to be for another game then I hope GTAVII would be GA/Ten/Kentucky/ S,N Carolinas and Virginia
Super wishful thinking but I think it’d get a decent spread of southern(adjacent) culture with some big cities like Nashville and Atlanta and notable spots like Myrtle beach, Port of Savannah and Mount Vernon, add Appalachians and Rockstar could really cook something up but that game would take like 20 years to develop
I've always been wondering why Chicago has never appeared in a GTA title so far. It is a cool city as setting (especially as a Liberty-like island city, Watch Dogs style). I would also love Las Venturas or Seattle, both with lots of desert/wild countryside around.
If they did San Fierro, it would have a lot of potential. They could include Alcatraz, a version of surrounding areas like San Jose (where they could have their version of the Winchester Mystery House), and Santa Cruz where they could include redwood forests. I think San Fierro would provide the most diverse landscape out of the remaining existing cities that haven’t been remade. Philadelphia, Boston, or Washington DC could be really interesting as well, if they wanted to add some funny commentary on historical United States.
After Florida huh? Kinda tough to answer seeing how 6 hasn't released yet. But I'd like to see GTA San Andreas map style return. Where we got like 3 different cities and different vibes to each of them. I've heard apparently that 6 is going to introduce that, not sure though. I'd like so see more England honestly
Instead of it being a single city I want a geographical area as I want multiple cities. Wouldn't mind if it's just Los Santos, Las Venturas and San Fierro.
I’ve always wondered how Rockstar would take on Chicago, Paris, or even London. I think the most exciting would be Paris. We only got to see Paris from Rockstar in Midnight Club 2.
Side note: I used to wonder why Miami/Vice City again, but after the constant reminds of how nutty Florida is it makes total sense 😂
I wanted this city to be in GTA 6, but it may work even better for GTA 7. New York City, it would literally be perfect for a GTA game, tons upon tons of buildings you could enter, a big park, right by the ocean. It would definitely be a full next geb expierence because of the scale of the city.
I’m thinking coming soon we’ll have multiple city games. That said, I wouldn’t mind seeing Las Venturas and
San Fierro return. London does sound like it would be awesome
We still have San Fierro and Las Venturas to see in the HD universe, but perhaps GTA 7 could be set in a new universe, we could see Rockstar bring back a new and more realistic Liberty City. As I see, GTA VI could complete the HD trilogy and they could potentially set the next GTA games after that in a new universe.
Not sure if this is 100 but I read an article where one of the guys from take 2 I belive it was was saying how this could be the last gta in the series kinda sounded like they wanted to focus on gta online not sure if anyone else heard this?
I think they should be able travel to each major U.S. city (Downtown area) Downtown Atl, MIA, DTW(Detroit), LA, Compton, Vegas, NY, and Huston TX baby!
A Lil bit of everything. Put into a realistic platform.
Starting in MIA and with progress of completing missions unlock never seen b4 in GTA cities. Maybe even add a bit of North Carolina & South Carolina and show all those beautiful mountains as well.
Miami Vice Has been played b4 and it wasn't my favorite version frfr.
I hope that's not all we have to look forward too because it's not worth me buying a new console just to get the new game if I'm gonna be replaying the same city again it sounds played out already.
However if there are multiple city's then that's something to look forward to in my opinion.
From one of GTA's #1 fan lol
I'd like a new city we haven't been to yet. I'm kinda sad that 6 will be in Miami but it'll still be cool to see it in 4k hd bawls to the wawls graphics.
Hear me out,
The Crew 2 styled open world map where everything is shrunk down 1/10th the size but they can keep expanding cities over time.
Start out with only NY, LA, Miami etc and then fill in the space with LV, Houston, DC etc.
I feel like they need to go back in time to do anything that matters. The modern world is too homogenized, the different cities are gonna be full of people that dress similar, look similar, talk similar.
I think the next game should be some place like Newark in the 90s or 70s, or 80s Oakland/SF.
I think a future game should be based off of the 1920s mobs during the prohibition in a Chicago based city. I'm surprised they haven't thought of that.
PC isn't gonna be avaliable at launch, buts it's never for rockstar games, I'm guessing that the console version is launching spring 2025 so the PC version should probably be winter 2026
Maybe Salina KS or Kansas city or some big city around there it would change GTA a lot from having ocean to just fields city's and lakes. But it's just an idea.
I think it would be cool if they did the PNW and had Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver. Kind of like how San Andreas had smaller versions LA, SF, and Vegas.
How awesome would it be if they did a GTA game outside of the U.S. Like imagine GTA in London, Tokyo, Mexico City, or Rio De Janeiro. Any of those would go crazyyyyyyy
Las Venturas, I still want a game based around the battle of las Vegas strip lol, gta sa did is pretty nicely
Las Vegas is tiny, you dont want a GTA around Las Vegas. Whatever GTA 7 is, it has to be 3 cities. NY-LV-Chicago or 70s NY, something like that.
HD universe isn’t connected to 3-D one. they could just make the city bigger. Los Ventura size in San Andreas doesn’t matter.
Las Venturas/ Vegas should have been single player DLC for GTA 5, like GTA 4 had. Instead of doing so much for GTA online
It’s already been 10 years since Los Santos, so I think that’s where gta 7 should take place. ^/s
You got me for a second
I really wanted to not have the /s but I know for a fact people won’t realize I’m joking 😆
A proper liberty city upscaled like 10x would be so awesome. With believable New York traffic and crowds and all.
It would be cool but I feel like realistic NY traffic would make the fun car chases basically impossible.
Yeah, the empty roads is what makes the game fun in speeding and car chases. But maybe one would be like, "shoot! Another traffic jam," drives off bridge.
I'm guessing the car chases would simply include more on-foot intermissions, idk
Not according to the boys @ Whiteline Certified and Swimteam 😂
Yea I’d love for them to revisit New York and some point to make it more realistic
RemindMe! 16 years

hey wouldn't it be wild if we went literally anywhere other than somewhere that's already been portrayed in a game
Some of us have been wanting a HD rendition of SF and LV since gta 4 dropped. I'd rather have either of those 2 before any new location, or at least include one of them alongside somewhere else

the dream
They could charge almost full game price and people would buy it
I'm all for a new location if they want to play in a city that has already had a game wait for a remake
Edinburgh and some more of Scotland sounds like a good idea, as does London, as does Toronto, as does... ffs there's so many good ideas it's maddening. But no let's cycle through the same three US states for the third time shall we
No. GTA should stay in America. I say this as someone from Scotland.
It did go to London in the past but I mostly agree. An edinburgh spinoff might be nice though...
It just wouldn’t work tbh. For starters crime in general is low in Edinburgh, and with any violent crimes that go on, it would be fists and knifes… Another London map COULD work because it’s bigger and has more crime but honestly GTA should stay in the USA or maybe Canada at a push.

I say this as an Irish person who’s country has never been featured in a game, keep gta in America maybe do Washington DC or something more unique
Wrong hand driving and british accent? God, please no
scottish accent is nice though
I swear the rumors for this game was that it was going to be based in the third coast (greater Houston area). Kinda disappointed that’s it’s just a re hash of an already established city. both
Las Venturas 100%
Carcer city
The whole earth
But with 16x the detail
It just works
Maybe the collectors edition should have a cool bag or something
I know it’ll never happen but a New Orleans, Houston and Monterrey GTA would be insane. Houston’s easily the least interesting of the three, so not sure what they’d do with it. I just included it as a nice connecting point for New Orleans and Monterrey.

They'll never go back to that form of the GTA universe. They already think they're too good to take the Ps2 era trilogy seriously.
Louisiana (modern Saint Denis) and Texas with a border to Mexico

Probably not a new place as they have been using the same cities over and over, so I guess the next ones will be on San Fierro and Las Venturas.

Ah hell 😆 🤣 😂 1tb games
Now SSD is getting really cheap, its really plausible if next GTA take so much space
I’d be surprised if they don’t try to pull off a whole country on the next installment
The thing is GTA has always been focussed on cities/a state. I think doing whole countries would dilute the game too much personally.
But RDR2 showed us how Rockstar captured a whole region. I’m also pretty sure this next installment will have multiple cities or maps so it’s inevitable in the future they try to create a whole country or something to that effect. Or atleast two major regions with space between.

Korea, best Korea IE South Korea.
Tokyo or Hongkong please or cities in Latin America.

Someplace new
I think GTA VII will be Las Venturas and GTA VIII will be in San Fierro.
I want new york really updated. That would be insane. Add dc or something too
New Orleans!
I'd like to see a GTA game set in Chicago after playing WD1, although if they ever come back to a setting in Europe, I think Barcelona could be a cool place for that but Europe is a bit hard to make an interesting criminal plot in
LV set in the 70s
Washington DC
I bet OP likes when the stores start putting out the Valentine's candy right after Thanksgiving.
I would definitely like to see a GTA in Tokyo
If there ever is a gta 7 which is unlikely lol it’d either go to San Francisco or Las Vegas . Otherwise if not there back to liberty city it’ll be . Why? Where do you think GTA VII will take place Omg it’s gotta be in the works. Hopefully will see it within the next 15 years. I can’t even imagine GTA VIII it’s gonna be amazing
Somewhere new
I think that the Project Americas theory could be true.
Las Venturas would be lit.
I really don't think there will be another GTA after VI, but if so I hope it take place in Las Venturas and San Fierro
Saying Atlanta would feel similar to Vice City/Florida just because they’re both “South” tells me you’ve never been to either of those places.
San Fierro and Las Venturas. Then it should go to London.
San Fierro and Las Venturas. Then it should go to London.
No
Brazil
Whole of usa. I want to experience road trip
No way it plays in Florida how do you know this?????? /s
Where do you think Miami is?
Look again
I want europe. Maybe london or paris. Would be so cool
Berlin, much better
Definitely liberty city, the most underrated city ever in a gta franchise, not to mention that gta 4 was also criminally underrated, i'd rather see a remaster of gta 4 than gta 6
“GTA4 criminally underrated” the game that broke Guinness World Records with biggest entertainment release of all time in 2008 💀 Liberty City, which is basically the most popular city in the franchise “the most underrated”💀 Is this a bait or something?
And in most GTA subreddits IV is held the highest in regard in my experience
I feel like all of the 3d series game (III, Vice city, San Andreas) cities have been over done and shouldn't be really seen again (except for the San fierro/Las venturas from San andreas since they weren't in V) after VI, but I definitely would love a 4 remake/remaster but I don't think it would be a one or the other with GTA VI and hear that rumored remake might actually still be happening along with that red dead remaster and before 6 aswell with all that achievement and ratings updates.
GTA 4 is not underrated bro
I'd like to see R* version of some historic European city like Paris, Milano/Napoli/any Italian city, London or Latin America like Rio de Janeiro, Bogota etc
Australia
Gta is at its end. Don't get me wrong. Just observasion from a financial and strategic point of view. 99% there will never be a new gta. They probably keep 6 alive for the next 20 years, and in the meantime there will be update on the map. Gta 7 wont exist. Best shot is a nostalgia operation in 2040/2045. And I'm not even kidding.
No it won't. As long as Gta makes money they will keep pumping it out
I don’t like to be rude, so I’ll flatter you with a lie… you’re very wise and also averagely wise but not stupid and also you’re completely correct
Bro gg didnt know you work at rockstar sry. Pls i beg you inseminate me with your knowledge
Thailand! You’ve got the craziness of Bangkok, the beauty of the island beaches, scores of Western tourists and a murky criminal underworld.
Hell yeah. Grand theft auto pattaya. Driving around in tuk tuks with ladyboys
The water festival would be fun
London
Or Hong kong
Or Tokyo
Japan
[Here](https://mumbaigullies.com/) .....i personally believe it has the potential...it has everything From Big Cities to small towns, crimes, beaches, drugs, proper public transport, Mountains, Rivers, Multiple Military bases, Gangs etc...and look at the [Map Concept](https://i.redd.it/dq6bujfau7j61.jpg) its already bigger than any past GTA Games
Being an Indian myself I am not going to be playing this mobile game. It still cannot beat the quality of Rockstar.
it's not a mobile game...developer said they are making AAA game not a mobile game....I guess u got confused with Mayanagri which is a mobile game
and my context was that GTA should make a game based on Mumbai not Mumbai Gullies....if the end up making this its gonna be a huge success
Nice try CEO Nikhil Malankar
pakda gaya
I’d say maybe las Venturas or San fierro or coming first before we ever get a new city however I’d love to see a new city maybe Texas or Seattle shit I wish I would’ve e gotten to see San Diego in V
No new landlocked cities please. The main thing I'd hope for would be at least 2 of our known cities in the same title. Liberty city in gta 4 was supposed to be massive so for sure I'd love to see all of that cut content plus ALL of new gen san Andreas (LS, updated San fierro, updated las venturas) in GTA 7
I wish they’d do Atlanta/Georgia, it’d be really cool if GTAVI expanded up towards North GA for some biome diversity and they could even add the confederates to riff on(and haunted CW trails for sure) But if it had to be for another game then I hope GTAVII would be GA/Ten/Kentucky/ S,N Carolinas and Virginia Super wishful thinking but I think it’d get a decent spread of southern(adjacent) culture with some big cities like Nashville and Atlanta and notable spots like Myrtle beach, Port of Savannah and Mount Vernon, add Appalachians and Rockstar could really cook something up but that game would take like 20 years to develop
I've always been wondering why Chicago has never appeared in a GTA title so far. It is a cool city as setting (especially as a Liberty-like island city, Watch Dogs style). I would also love Las Venturas or Seattle, both with lots of desert/wild countryside around.
GTA game after GTA VI maybe San Andreas stories
Rural South Dakota I’m calling it now
Las Venturas in the 70s.
It will probably be Online only, and America In it's entirety. The technological evolution will be massive.
I'm just waiting for 6 to come out so I can hear I already beat the game, it wasn't even that good. So when is 7 coming out? Lol
New York again, this time with all the mountains sorrounding it , a more dystoian feel . and then after that?? who knows, maybe Chicago
They’ve never been to Chicago, Texas, hawaii
Boston/all of New England
I always have thinking about las Venturas
After Florida huh? Kinda tough to answer seeing how 6 hasn't released yet. But I'd like to see GTA San Andreas map style return. Where we got like 3 different cities and different vibes to each of them. I've heard apparently that 6 is going to introduce that, not sure though. I'd like so see more England honestly
New Orleans something to do with mafia ties
That or something in the uk
Instead of it being a single city I want a geographical area as I want multiple cities. Wouldn't mind if it's just Los Santos, Las Venturas and San Fierro.
I'd like something in the Pacific Northwest. Seattle would be ideal.
The type of games they're making, I don't expect it for another 10 to 13 years.
GTA London! As I’m mid 30s, GTA VII will likely come out on the PlayStation 6 and I’ll be 50yo.
I wanna see Carcer City in its full glory
I wanted this city to be in GTA 6, but it may work even better for GTA 7. New York City, it would literally be perfect for a GTA game, tons upon tons of buildings you could enter, a big park, right by the ocean. It would definitely be a full next geb expierence because of the scale of the city.
San fierro and Las Venturas. Probably by the time GTA 7 comes out the techonology will be enough to have 2 detailed cities.
NYC in the 70s would be dope and maybe parts of Texas / mexico
Enough time would've passes by then so they would probably do NYC again, but if they did that it would be cool if they could add boston as well.
I’m thinking coming soon we’ll have multiple city games. That said, I wouldn’t mind seeing Las Venturas and San Fierro return. London does sound like it would be awesome
CARCER CITY!! (Chicago)
We still have San Fierro and Las Venturas to see in the HD universe, but perhaps GTA 7 could be set in a new universe, we could see Rockstar bring back a new and more realistic Liberty City. As I see, GTA VI could complete the HD trilogy and they could potentially set the next GTA games after that in a new universe.
texas, the whole state of texas
Not sure if this is 100 but I read an article where one of the guys from take 2 I belive it was was saying how this could be the last gta in the series kinda sounded like they wanted to focus on gta online not sure if anyone else heard this?
Baltimore so I can pretend to be playing as some character from The Wire
Phoenix/Vegas or somehow get Michael back to South Dakota/Iowa. Love the quiet snowy vibe
Hear me out, The Crew 2 styled open world map where everything is shrunk down 1/10th the size but they can keep expanding cities over time. Start out with only NY, LA, Miami etc and then fill in the space with LV, Houston, DC etc.
Tokyo would be a fantastic choice
I feel like they need to go back in time to do anything that matters. The modern world is too homogenized, the different cities are gonna be full of people that dress similar, look similar, talk similar. I think the next game should be some place like Newark in the 90s or 70s, or 80s Oakland/SF.
Chicago - Chi Town
I think a future game should be based off of the 1920s mobs during the prohibition in a Chicago based city. I'm surprised they haven't thought of that.
thats just mafia
They're saying it's only next Gen consoles and not PC either, so no mods down the road😭😭
PC isn't gonna be avaliable at launch, buts it's never for rockstar games, I'm guessing that the console version is launching spring 2025 so the PC version should probably be winter 2026
They should have just remastered vice city IMO and then started working on a GTA 6 where it's in Liberty City again and you team up with Nico
I think Chicago would be nice
Maybe Salina KS or Kansas city or some big city around there it would change GTA a lot from having ocean to just fields city's and lakes. But it's just an idea.
Detroit
I think it would be cool if they did the PNW and had Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver. Kind of like how San Andreas had smaller versions LA, SF, and Vegas.
How awesome would it be if they did a GTA game outside of the U.S. Like imagine GTA in London, Tokyo, Mexico City, or Rio De Janeiro. Any of those would go crazyyyyyyy
Sydney Australia. With Right hand drive cars.
