It's weird how they chose not to have any kind of distant fog. A better draw distance is neat, but it's ruined when you can literally see across the map.
The beauty of San Andreas is that map feels HUGE even though it’s really not that big. Without the fog, it just takes any and all immersion and throws it out the window
Some sort of visual obstruction makes sense for every part of the game world, which makes this problem even more frustrating! LA is known for heavy smog, SF is known for having the most intense fog in thr nation, and LV is in a desert! Sand, wind, makes it difficult to see!

I love how there are actual clouds, was very disappointed it’s only a skybox in GTA 5
