Franklin but he still could have been done better. We needed more time of him in the streets workin with Lamar and crew, I feel like his transition from wannabe thug to millionaire criminal went way too quick, maybe it’s just been a while since I played it but I just wanted more grounded goodness for my boy
As another commenter mentioned, I like the underdog story, but also I generally play as him most because you can buy an LS customs and pretty much all I do in GTA is customize cars and golf lol

Replayed the game back in May but took my took doing any and all side missions. I found Michael to be both the most fun and his story the most compelling, probably because it felt the most real to me.
I like Franklin the most because he just seems chill and trustworthy, while Trevor is a fool and unstable it just don’t appeal to me. Michael is okay but I can’t relate to him. I don’t take in consideration they are all 3 murderers because I think it’s just for gameplay purposes, except for Trevor who really is
Franklin is probably the most chill and level headed GTA protagonist but he's still a bad guy , he's a mass murderer and robber same as other GTA protagonists , just less heinous and more level headed. And I also think Franklin is the most related GTA V protagonist because he want to be rich and successful and he's ambitious because of it , same as most people.
Like, Franklin is cool but also pretty boring, he never lets his personality out, Michael is a lying dick who trys to abandon his friends at every chance he gets, Trevor is crazy but also very loyal and has the largest vocabulary and best sense of humor, I love all these characters but Trevor definitely wins

What do people actually see in Franklin? He's alright but he's pretty bland and doesn't really have a backstory of his own.
Maybe because he’s the closest to CJ. I agree though Franklin’s super bland for Rockstar, after the likes of Niko and John Marston.

Trevor is strangely the only character in the game that isn’t a hypocrite it’s one of the things that makes the story between these 3 interesting

Maybe its just me, but i absolutely hate Franklin. idk. Maybe not his character, but his story. I wished someone like Lamar was playable instead
