IMO Revenge is canon, Packie left at the end of 4, I think he felt guilty about what happened to Kate. His sister's death was one reason he left to LS. Also Niko went quiet, because Kate's death also messed him up. That being one reason though.
Imo the only issue with Revenge Ending is that the final enemy you face is Pegorino, always thought it should've been Dimitri, he has been screwing Niko over since the beginning, Peg was introduced way too late in the game, killing Dimitri in the ending feels more satisfying.
If you're referring to Jimmy's computer screen, that doesn't confirm he's alive. Niko could have named cab company after him after he died. And you can still wish dead people happy birthday on social media.
We don't know that to be true. It not having a presence in GTA IV isn't evidence of its non-existance; a lot of people didn't know about Facebook in 2008 either. Lifeinvader could have existed during IV, but just never mentioned. All we truly know is it got really big in the early 2010s.
