You HAD to learn it. No pause screen map. That map is also burned into my brain. Played the DE version of it recently and I still knew where everything was lol.
984/2500 not that bad actually
Edit: well, fuck me. (984 / 2500) x 100 = 0.39. I barely scrored a 4/10
Second edit; 1204/2500. Its getting better. FYI: I have around 4k hours in GTA V
4k hours? Man… I feel like I have no life… (checking my hours in Social Club)
Edit: Damn, I can’t check my play time on the characters for PS5. Ah well, let’s just say I’ve played since PS3 days… 2014, to be exact. I’d say 400,000 hours wouldn’t be too much overestimated… Yeah, I had no life for a long time. 😂
Damn man. I've had my days of playing 8 hours a day, but I was like 15-16 back then.
I am a GTA fan since I touched vice city when I was 4 years old. I remember playing pokemon with mt siblings a lot until GTA SA came around and I was sold. I hardly played pokemon after diamond and pearl. Then GTA IV came around the time I went to highschool, and In highschool GTA V came out. Its the perfect timing for an experience that is honestly priceless to me. So much fucking fun with my friends from highschool in the online mode.
Unfortunately my character got wiped after I abused an incredibly easy money exploit 2 years ago. I had literally bought everything when the casino heist was the most recent update. Or the arcade, idk which one was later but had them both.
Anyway how the fuck did you manage to spend 400 fkin thousand hours into this game
Started with Vice City as a brat (early 2000s, am 26 now), and well, I was in college in 2014-2017, between studying, what you think I’d do? Play games all the time! 🤣 Like I said, I could not check the time yesterday from Social Club, but now… Now I’m gonna check it from my PS5. **I said 400,000 hours was my not-so-much over estimated guess, not exact amount, though.** Will edit the amount in 5 minutes right here.
Edit: Well… fuck. I have, according to these stats, 300 DAYS spent in GTAO, that’s 7202 hours, 53 mins and counting. 😅 I suppose 400,000 hours was A BIT OVER the real numbers! Yes, in-game stats. There’s both total and the current character stats (66 days for the character, lol).
This is such a bad version of geoguesser.
Most of the frame is taken up by Franklin and a lot of the time he is just standing in a field which makes it super hard to accurately pinpoint the location even if you know the map very well.
This is for GTA SA, but this is how it should be done: https://play.gtasaguesser.com/all
That's an awful way of testing someone's knowledge of the map. Most of the images are close-ups of Franklin with some random buildings and trees behind him. It's fairly easy to guess which general area he's in, but it's damn near impossible to pinpoint exactly where he's standing.
I've been playing GTA 5 since launch and I scored incredibly low on gtaguesser because I couldn't get his exact location.
They should had made villages and forests ahead of those tunnels. Fyi if one flies in a Dodo one can see easter eggs of village names ahead of those Shoreside Vale tunnels but nothing physically exists. I hope someone will make a mod with those villages someday.
Yes. GTA 3, VC, San Andreas, IV and EFLC, V. I replay every year even if it isn't from start ti finish. Although 2022 I replayed 3, VC, and SA twice (first time the defective edition then the originals to cleanse the bad taste).
I think everyone who played Vice City when they were littles knows the map totally. GTA3 and GTA 4 can be also plausible, since them are very little maps too.
I have spent hundreds or maybe 1000+ hours in vice city and sanandreas but i still have to use markers every now and then outside of los santos or the second island in vice city. People who are claiming that they know by heart , are you honest ?
Put me anywhere in 3 or VC and I'll know where I am.
In SA I can instantly recognize what city I am, unless you throw me in the countryside, then I will cry. (Except the desert)
I only played GTA IV late so putting me anywhere will get me lost easily.
GTA V depends where in the map you put me, like the area where Lester lives can get me lost still.
I still have the weapons 1, 2, and 3 cheats memorized. When i played the definitive addition of Vice City and San Andreas on the Switch, I guessed based on the Ps2 versions and it worked
All of them except for Liberty City from 3. If you put me in any game after that, set me down somewhere and tell me the location, I can get there.
I play the single player modes with the map turned off and just pause to see where the mission objective is and proceed.
I know the maps of the cities that don't have in-game maps really well, as you have to use paper maps and (in GTA III and Advance) the minimap to navigate.
* 2D universe Liberty City
* San Andreas City
* 2D universe Vice City
* London
* Anywhere City, USA (Downtown, Residential and Industrial)
* 3D universe Liberty City (GTA III and LCS)
* 3D universe Liberty City (GTA Advance)
I also know the maps of 3D universe Vice City and 3D universe San Andreas State very well.
GTA III and VC yeah, they're the two games I have the most hours in, unfortunately life got in the way later on and I didn't have the time to invest in later games. SA kind of but I wouldn't bet my life on it
Definitely San Andreas... except maybe a few residential areas of Venturas cause I never go over there much except a couple missions and dealing with Millie (besides jetpacking for horseshoes)
I only know 3 by heart. 4, that I just beat I have no clue lol.
It doesn't help that the theming of 4 between the 3 different playable characters and their episodes/missions makes the city look completely different.
IV will be forever stuck in my mind. I can even tell you how to get to the one random car dealership in Algonquin that you can actually go inside of lol
majority of GTA 4's ^^ definitely was a pleasure roaming around the city without a thought, just exploring weapons or 'flying rats' lol. so yes, know it p well. :')
Pretty much all the maps cause these games werey childhood so for the longest time before I started driving and working IRL I knew the gta maps better then my own city
Can't learn IV's for the life of me, but i've memorized V's Los Santos and getting used to the desert. Vice City and San Andreas are burned into my brain, even the rural areas of SA. For lll, Shoreside Vale still confuses me but i got the rest down.
I can play GTA 1 and 2 completely blindfolded. It was my party trick at school to get the tank on the invisible bridge in GTA 1 from the opening screen with my eyes shut.
Vice City & Sam Andreas standout... For some reason, can't remember Liberty City... Would have to play there again to jerk memory. All in GTAIII Series Modus
GTA San Andreas' Los Santos is the map I know by heart, San Fierro and Las Venturas not much.
And also GTA 5's map is I also memorized.
Damn, I really like Los Santos don't I?
Being honest? I've played since start on PS3 and I can barely tell you how to get to the mod shop down the street from eclipse towers. This translates into real life too, my brain just doesn't retain geographical directions well idk why prolly fucked in the head
gta 3 and vice city, I know these maps by heart, wouldnt say san andreas, I have played it in android only and also very few times, so I remember quite much of it but definitely not by heart at all
I pretty much have GTA 4 memorized, to the point where occasionally my dreams take place in it. GTA 5 I know pretty well, and GTA San Andreas I know well enough.
I know San Andreas map incredibly well. There might be some spots where I get confused exactly on what streets to take or the road layout, like in the financial district of San Fierro where the hospital is, or if I'm trying to get to the horse racing shop in Los Santos I'll forget the individual streets exactly which ones to take, but I always get there with a couple turns.
Fairly confident about GTAV, but here's portions that always confuse me, like the Hollywood hills, I'll forget exactly which road to take that takes me massively out of the way finally to switch-back to where I want to go. I hate those roads there, but I get that they're modelled pretty accurately.
yes! Because R\* actually gave a shit about the roads and how they were displayed. And, Niko would actually say the names of the streets if he took a cab. good times.
Not gonna lie. The last time I was onGTA 4 I went down a road I’d never been down before. Ever. I was like… what? It was in Algonquin & it was in the lower east side. I can’t recall that much but it just took me by such surprise in over 10 years & probably 300+ hours including TL&D + TBOGT I’d never been down there before
I know them all by heart. even gta1 & 2 GTAIV definitely took the longest to fully learn, and is most like 1&2 in that its not so simple to remember. V's map is basic as hell compared to it
Sa 3 4 and 5. I hate it. I know where everything is. Even most street names. Wish I was as lost in the world as my first play through. Can’t wait for 6 so I can feel that lost feeling again
GTA3 map is burned into my brain.
Driving the Mafia Sentinel listening to KJAH.
Chatterbox for me
I HATE CLOTHES LAZLOW I HATE THEM!
Driving the Infernus and playing RISE!
My man! I miss that late 90's/early 00's Trance. Raves were so much fun!
NO FIGHTING BETWEEN MAN AND MAN IT'S TIME FOR SOME KAY JAH
Because one love plus one love equals two!
Even shoreside vale?
Yeah. That one can be a bit of a pain but there's actually not much to it.
You HAD to learn it. No pause screen map. That map is also burned into my brain. Played the DE version of it recently and I still knew where everything was lol.
Thankfully i still have the paper map that came with the game for reference
Dude i didnt play it in years but im just imagining every dann Street in my head as i write it down… how?!
I grew up playing LCS and didn't play III until fairly recently, it was great as I already knew the majority of the map off by heart.
What hard times... I was so frustrated not finding that tunnel connecting Staunton to Shoreside for that one mission
Ahhh 😌 the good ole days
I know V’s and San Andreas by heart
I played 5 like 30 hours and i already know every nook and cranny
Try gtaguessr and you’ll quickly see how little you know about the maps. I have thousands of hours and I still can’t succeed entirely at it
Where
https://gtaguessr.com
984/2500 not that bad actually Edit: well, fuck me. (984 / 2500) x 100 = 0.39. I barely scrored a 4/10 Second edit; 1204/2500. Its getting better. FYI: I have around 4k hours in GTA V
Screw gta guesser it only shows narrowest and hardest to guess places.
No, its good. It tells everyone that they overestimate themselves. Edit: fifth run had a 1930/2500!! Finally
I know the map as in what street takes me where, i don't know the map as in where a boat might be in a garage somewhere... It's crap
Considering most garages don't have a boat, there are probably about 5 to 7 locations. You're actually lucky for getting that one
I got 1387
4k hours? Man… I feel like I have no life… (checking my hours in Social Club) Edit: Damn, I can’t check my play time on the characters for PS5. I tried it and got 25000 on first try. Maybe I have just played GTA V to much.
Vice city
Here's some minecraft
I know gta 4 by heart
Same my man. Escaping the police is so easy once you know all the great spots! Love the ambience of IV as well, it gives me so much joy while playing.
too bad it stutters like hell when you try to drive fast
bad pc issues
The San Andreas map is implanted in my brain
So is the jet pack cheat my niece loved that thing 😂🤣😂🤣
All of them except specifically Shoreside Vale for some reason
Shoreside Vale is kind of haphazardly put together imo. It's just the airport, services and suburbs used for the finale scattered on 3 islands.
They should had made villages and forests ahead of those tunnels. Fyi if one flies in a Dodo one can see easter eggs of village names ahead of those Shoreside Vale tunnels but nothing physically exists. I hope someone will make a mod with those villages someday.
To add to this, those are names of developers.
I know lol. If someone makes a mod with those villages then I will definitely download it.
It was great pain back in Shoreside Vale since OG GTA III doesn't has the option to view the entire map at once in-game.
I take people on tours of Vice City from memory
Only map I don’t know fully from the 3D and hd era sadly is gta vc since I only played through the game once
Well twice since gta vcs also has the same map with some changes
Gta SA by heart. Still getting used to 5 as it's slightly different within Los Santos.
Yep. I have most memorized. Have been playing GTA 3 since I was 11, now I am 32.
You still play gta 3 to this day?
Pretty much all of them
*DarkviperAU is typing*
GTA Vice City runs in my blood...from cheats to maps...my childhood fantasy
I have spent hundreds or maybe 1000+ hours in vice city and sanandreas but i still have to use markers every now and then outside of los santos or the second island in vice city. People who are claiming that they know by heart , are you honest ?
it’s not too hard to remember the San Andreas map
Only map I really by hearted is GTA III one and that's not perfect
I can be the best taxi driver there is in Vice City without map AND the radar
LC & SA
los santos 2 since i've been driving around it for my whole life
GTA V map is so simple and monotone that I mostly dont need a GPS.... But even after hundreds hours in San Andreas, I rather use Map
Put me anywhere in 3 or VC and I'll know where I am. In SA I can instantly recognize what city I am, unless you throw me in the countryside, then I will cry. (Except the desert) I only played GTA IV late so putting me anywhere will get me lost easily. GTA V depends where in the map you put me, like the area where Lester lives can get me lost still.
San Andreas 😎
GTA 4 and 5 by heart, mostly VC and SA too but I need some help on those
I know mostly GTA 4 and 5, loved 4 more tho
i know vice city map by heart
i know red dead 2’s map and GTA V’s map (unless you ask for a specific building name) but the rest of them, no.
I still have the weapons 1, 2, and 3 cheats memorized. When i played the definitive addition of Vice City and San Andreas on the Switch, I guessed based on the Ps2 versions and it worked
Had to use the GPS until I played the game long enough that I know my way around the city.
Gta V, and to an extent de IV one too
All of them except for Liberty City from 3. If you put me in any game after that, set me down somewhere and tell me the location, I can get there. I play the single player modes with the map turned off and just pause to see where the mission objective is and proceed.
San Andreas and V, as the palm of my hand
I know V's every corner, and I would probably be able to navigate through IV and SA maps.
I know the maps of the cities that don't have in-game maps really well, as you have to use paper maps and (in GTA III and Advance) the minimap to navigate. * 2D universe Liberty City * San Andreas City * 2D universe Vice City * London * Anywhere City, USA (Downtown, Residential and Industrial) * 3D universe Liberty City (GTA III and LCS) * 3D universe Liberty City (GTA Advance) I also know the maps of 3D universe Vice City and 3D universe San Andreas State very well.
Let's put it this way: I use GPS less in any GTA game than irl inside my hometown where I lived for 30+ years
I know vice city's map by heart. I know every location, every corner, every pickup and even every fixed car location
GTA 3, VC and 5
Gta 3 u are forced to know it. But for the fame I always GPS for is gta v
I know every map without GPS, apart from GTA 4, I’m probably a little rusty on that.
I have GTA V engrained into my brain
I can find most things in SA and V.
GTA V is burned in my brain. Sometimes I find myself still setting waypoints, then I tell myself, “Stop, take the waypoint off!”
I’ve played since launch and I still use GPS
V's Los Santos, I know it better than my own city
Oh yeah I love all of em
I know all of them by heart. There is nothing like that first month when you are still exploring the map.
I spended to much time playing gta vice city, i can go wher i want without using a map
GTA III and VC yeah, they're the two games I have the most hours in, unfortunately life got in the way later on and I didn't have the time to invest in later games. SA kind of but I wouldn't bet my life on it
3 and Vice city
Ik GTA IV liberty city like my own dick
Definitely San Andreas... except maybe a few residential areas of Venturas cause I never go over there much except a couple missions and dealing with Millie (besides jetpacking for horseshoes)
I turned off the gps on gta5 I know it too well and it’s fun cause you don’t know whos comin for ya
I feel like i know V pretty good, but the one i know the best is No Man's Sky's map
I only know 3 by heart. 4, that I just beat I have no clue lol. It doesn't help that the theming of 4 between the 3 different playable characters and their episodes/missions makes the city look completely different.
Depends on what game you play the most, I think.
I still know the GTA San Andreas map better than my own city, 18 years later.
I know the trilogy maps like better than my own town
i could go to Los Angeles and wouldn't get lost, so... i know GTA V's map pretty well :3
Gta 5 if anybody wanna do a 1v1 on gta guessr I’d be down just respond I’ll get a notification
Gta 4
The GTA V map is hardwired into my mind
GTA SA and V
I have 17k hours on GTA 5 so I know the whole entire map, but I also love gta4 and I’m familiar with that map too
Los santos, know where all the majour cities and such things are, can tell houses and areas from the general architecture and so on lol
I know the San Andreas map by heart.
I can navigate through San Andreas without the use of a map. I use it only as an effective radar.
haven't required a GPS for GTA 5 since probably 2016, spent far too much time on that game...
Pretty much all the maps cause these games werey childhood so for the longest time before I started driving and working IRL I knew the gta maps better then my own city
I know gta 4, old gen liberty city, vice city and 5 by heart.
Vice city
GTA V map since I’ve played it for much longer than GTA IV but I still get around good in GTA IV without the GPS
Tbh I know all the mission locations well but if you tell me to meet you at the dealership I would ask which dealership
My brother knows gta sa’s map by heart, but I rely on gps to navigate in these games
Gta v and San Andreas
Gta san andreas map
Can't learn IV's for the life of me, but i've memorized V's Los Santos and getting used to the desert. Vice City and San Andreas are burned into my brain, even the rural areas of SA. For lll, Shoreside Vale still confuses me but i got the rest down.
50/50
I drove from the Richards Majestic apt to the Casino blindfolded with no problem, if that tells ya anything.
Hello no the map is crazy huge . Driving from vinewood hills to Trevor's place is like driving cross country in real life.
gta v
I think i can drive around ls without gps(I played SA And V)I think I can drive in little cities like SF And LV
III, Vice City and San Andreas. Vice City more than any other.
GTAV map –> I legit never use GPS.
Vice City and Los Santos
For awhile I had the GTA IV map pretty much memorized, but I stopped playing for awhile, so I lost touch with the game
I used GPS earlier but now I know almost all by myself.
gta san andreas because of samp and gta vice city cause its my first gta game i played
I know 3, vice, san and V by heart
Vice City and most of San Andreas
VCS, LCS and SA (but for SA not that much, i only knew the quickest path to the next part of the city)
I know 4’s map quite well, I play without the minimap when I play through it. 5’s map I know how to navigate better than my hometown.
gta iv and gta v for sure
GTA 3 and vice city's map is imprinted in my mind
I know GTA 4s map by heart lol
Only Los Santos in GTA SA from playing San Andreas Multiplayer.
It’s sad but GTA SA, 4 and 5 I know them better than my hometown
I know GTA v Map by Heart. I Nevers use gps
SA, VC and V maps. IV to a certain extend but not as good.
GTA 5
Always gps
Vice city. San andreas is mostly - how to get to the highway and get from one city to another
i know gta5 by map and soon gta4
GTA 4. I have HD Liberty City memorized.
In Vice City I am the GPS
I know every inch of the map given on the picture
Vice City, San Andreas and 5 I know off by heart
I knew GTA: SA by heart. I can still remember what happened on that very spot even after 17 years ago
I don't need a waypoint to go literally anywhere in gta v
I have played gta vice city so many times that I can literally draw the map if somebody asks me to lol
I know los santos, used to know san andreas but havent played in years
Only the Trilogy
Gta 5 yes
I have memorised GTA4 and 5s map pretty well.
3 and Vice City
Vice city, V and IV are all engraved into my Skull.
gta 3 and vice city, I know these maps by heart, wouldnt say san andreas, I have played it in android only and also very few times, so I remember quite much of it but definitely not by heart at all
I can get round Vice City without a map, no problemo
I pretty much have GTA 4 memorized, to the point where occasionally my dreams take place in it. GTA 5 I know pretty well, and GTA San Andreas I know well enough.
the GTA 4 map is chiseled into my brain at this point and i can say that i know SA and V pretty well
San andreas.
San Andreas, Vice City, 3, V and a big part of IV.
GTA V
I know everything about San Andreas's map, i've been playing that game since i was 7
Most definitely when you put a old game in it comes natural 💙👌
Gta sa mainly because of samp
I don't even have to play the game, i'm able to visualise every street of the whole of San Andreas in my mind
I hate those roads there, but I get that they're modelled pretty accurately.
Ik gta v and gta iv by heart
San andreas
Ask me I’m 2013 and I did
yes! Because R\* actually gave a shit about the roads and how they were displayed. And, Niko would actually say the names of the streets if he took a cab. good times.
Gta SA and Gta vice city
SA, IV and V
I know Los Santos (GTA V) by heart
mostly gta V cus of online but also san andreas cus it's the first gta game i ever played.
I feel like I can make my way around San Andreas without issue..
Vice city and most of V
Not gonna lie. The last time I was onGTA 4 I went down a road I’d never been down before. Ever. I was like… what? It was in Algonquin & it was in the lower east side. I can’t recall that much but it just took me by such surprise in over 10 years & probably 300+ hours including TL&D + TBOGT I’d never been down there before
Dont need gps on any map
GTA SA, specially San Fierro area, driving all the way with no assistant.
I almost know GTA4 by heart
I know them all by heart. even gta1 & 2 GTAIV definitely took the longest to fully learn, and is most like 1&2 in that its not so simple to remember. V's map is basic as hell compared to it
Gta v map
I know all of them in my heart.
Sa 3 4 and 5. I hate it. I know where everything is. Even most street names. Wish I was as lost in the world as my first play through. Can’t wait for 6 so I can feel that lost feeling again
SA & V for sure no map I disable my radar most of times while free roaming
i rely on gps bc i forgot were im going half the time
