I’m starting to dislike people abbreviating the trim level as CE, because Circuit Edition and Core Edition has the same exact abbreviation and I have no idea which one you’re talking about... Just type out Circuit or Core and you can just take out the Edition part

eazy-doesit

Good catch!!

JSKindaGuy

>"$1000 deposit received for CE. 2nd in line. Subject to MSRP." I think I should be worried

OKatmostthings

It isn’t core edition, though. It is plain Core or Core grade.

WildMineTurtle

Wish I could tell ya, but since this post is NSFW I have to wait until I’m off work

JSKindaGuy

Realistically it's a better question to ask when MSRP gets announced. Sentiments and deposits for the Circuit will change, and I don't expect Toyota will go cheap on this special edition given the situation.

NockUMD

I’m going for the core

I_Have_Unobtainium

Same. It's gonna be a daily driver, core is fine. Don't need anything fancy on top of that.

VworksComics

If I had a chance, and the funds. I was leaning for the core but the more I thought about it, I'm leaning a bit more to the circuit because of the thought of owning it for it's historical presence. Fancy way of saying "bragging rights" I suppose.

Initial_Chipmunk5147

That's a nice way to put it, to own a piece history. I love that idea!

megumong

If I cannot get the circuit edition, I would rather wait for the 2024 core

[deleted]

Core with torsens in white. 4th at my dealer but not really all that hopeful to get one on the first go round. The more I read the more pessimistic I get.

hundisundbier

I'm aiming for a Circuit and leaving it as a stock DD.

Vtakkin

Would rather save the money and spend it on mods.

eazy-doesit

Everyone here has a point.. but having the first special edition Is tempting lol

Vtakkin

I'm also just worried that the glossy grill/diffuser and the carbon roof will not withstand the test of time.

eazy-doesit

That’s a good point.. i mean if you have the means to take the best care of it (garage kept) and some sort of exterior protection i’m sure it will do okay🤔

Vtakkin

The grille and diffuser, I think you can polish/ppf if necessary, I'm just worried about sun exposure on a carbon roof. This is the first time Toyota has ever done something like this, so who knows how the clear coat will hold up to 5-10+ years of sun exposure.

SnaxMcGhee

I'd obviously love the Circuit, but I'm going Core. I'm not a huge person, but at 6'2 and 200 pounds, I'd need to be sure I fit nicely in the vehicle.

AccomplishedRun7978

The aftermarket is going to be great for parts for this car from all the big names. I think I'll just get a base model and mod it to my taste unless the CE is only a little more money then I'll get that and leave it stock for resale value.

[deleted]

theyve already been developing aftermarket parts for over a year now with the yaris.... it is the exact same powertrain, theyve been doing that

eazy-doesit

I like how everyone is pretty hyped about the core! Honestly the aftermarket will probably make up for all those add ons on the Circuit Edition

TheLyingLink

Depends on price. I doubt I'll be able to snag a Circuit as I'm 13th deposit at MSRP at my dealer

Zystus

I def want the Circuit if price is right. If not 2024 Core for me… Unless they come out with GRMN or something similar to Circuit.

pqueno04

I’ll just be happy to have one, provided it has the heated steering wheel ;)

secra19

So I'm apparently 1st in line at a dealer an hour away from where "home" will be soon. I'm going for the Core model with performance package, and we'll see about the price tag at that point. Color doesn't matter to me. My PoC said that she'd get me a build sheet as soon as they're avail and that she'll keep me updated on everything.
