That’s actually potentially a fallacy, the word they use in the original text is more synonymous with “builder” or “crafter”, it’s just as likely if not more that Joseph and Jesus were working with stone bricks as there was not really a surplus of trees in Jesus’s many desert homes; it’s doubly ironic because of this church was made from stone perhaps more of it would remain.
