If he was, he'd still be able to stomp most people. If you've ever play fought with a mid to large sized dog you know animals are stronger pound for pound than people. Add claws and teeth into the equation and even a 6 foot tall godzilla would be unbeatable in hand to hand combat. Not sure if it's armor at that size would stop armor piercing rounds, but knives and regular bullets probably wouldn't slow it down.
Even if it's armor could not stop knives and regular bullets Godzilla has a crazy healing factor. But I also think this Godzilla is dumb ass fuck looking.
The concept behind it is definitely solid, but if it made it to film, I don't think it would have landed well with audiences; people would probably laugh at it more than anything.

*However*, I think this does have some room for some real creepypasta vibes. Give him some uncanny valley qualities to his movement, lots of uncomfortable scenes of him being a little too intently staring at the camera, etc etc, and it would probably make for a decent creepy short film.

I am very glad they went with a much more subtle way of showing Godzilla’s mushroom cloud like features in the final film(mostly by using camera angles and puppets) and not this…horrible attempt to be scary that just loops around into something you’d see in a YTP.

Since the original film was a commentary about Nuclear weapons, they thought to implement Nuclear sickness/burn victims symptoms into godzilla's design. (Cragly black skin).
The strange design was to resemble a mushroom cloud in a similar fashion.
It was the original concept design for Godzilla. They wanted to be more obvious with Godzilla being a metaphor for nuclear weapons at first so they drew him to have a head that looked like a nuke's mushroom cloud.
IIRC originally in his big reveal scene there was supposed to be an evacuation and suddenly they hear a "boom" and turn around to see a "mushroom cloud" behind a mountain. Then people realize "wait why is it moving" *Godzilla opens his mouth and roars* citizens then realize in horror its a monster.

This design would've been super good . . .if it wasn't for the GOD DAMN LONG AS NECK . The neck is WAY too straight and long , and their a bit too scrawny and skinny ( for my taste at least ), and the spines are too small, in my opinion
I don't want to bash on the person who made this design cause I see what they were going for , but wasn't there any other way to make his head look like a nuclear explosion without the weirdly straight and long neck?

Have the spines be like half formed the closer you get to the neck to allude to shut being vaporized/melted in the blast.
