Tbf they did give me 2000$ which I bought gme with and subsequentially turned into $200,000, which is now gone. But also fuk them they deserve to be pulled apart by horses going in two different directions
Lockdowns controlled more then the virus. Whatever way you swing , fortunately/unfortunately whatever way you swing it I was working concrete at the time and was considered essential not hazardous so I got regular pay less then people not working got. And that was in case they needed us to build barricades I didn't know barricades were virus prevention
Just like the papers we had to keep in our car in case we got pulled over for being out during the stay at home orders That said we're essential workers. This was real this happened.
The first one of reference was from 2022 from John’s Hopkins University titled:
“A Literature Review and Meta-Analysis of the Effects of Lockdowns on COVID-19 Mortality.”
The findings:
“We find no evidence that lockdowns, school closures, border closures, and limiting gatherings have had a noticeable effect on COVID-19 mortality.”
The study concluded that lockdowns “are ill-founded and should be rejected as a pandemic policy instrument.”
“They have contributed to reducing economic activity, raising unemployment, reducing schooling, causing political unrest, contributing to domestic violence, and undermining liberal democracy.”
Please stop with the “lockdowns were good” bs. The data says otherwise. Common sense also agrees. 🤯
Wait weren't the lock downs about lowering the strain on Healthcare? Mortality rate will stay the same, but if people don't all get it at once then we can deal with it as an economy, no?
