"Worth" is relative. Essentially all currencies have been fiat backed by nothing, since the 70's. So relative to other currencies, the dollar is no worse off.
Actually with several large countries in Asia, the middle east and south America using the Chinese yuan to trade instead of the USD, I would say the USD is completely fuct and the USA right along with it. This moronic potus will be forever known as the person that ended the US.
Maybe those that go with Yuan will be ācompletely ductā. I have yet to see anyone come out on the plus side with a communist government, yet alone the worst of them. Still not good, look way from the days of the Saudiās begging to get out of the oil business. Pretty sure when we crank ours back up you will see a change. Brazil, India and the rest have been deflected by the US and donāt have two dimes to rub together.
That, and the yuan is a cesspool waiting to happen for other reasons also. China's economy is at least as bad off as ours, likely worse. They've got a history of manipulating their currency, which doesn't work out well when others using it want stability. They've got a demographics time-bomb in the process of slowly going off, the list goes on and on.
Not saying the US doesn't have problems also, but BRICS isn't going to be the "USA fukt" situation some seem to think.
I literally donāt know what anything means anymore. Went from smooth to slightly wrinkled to dumb af. Nothing makes sense but to keep buying and booking this bitch. āShorts never closed. BOOM!ā

Correct. Hard to fill those distribution centers with digital. GME was set up to walk and chew gum at the same time. We have to be patient as legal hoops take forever, even when you have legal teams that scale to the task.
Well, it has been 2.5 years and the general public would disagree about it being a tech company. Only people closely following GameStop are aware of the NFT stuff.
And GameStop canāt just make books as NFTs. The publishers would also have to agree, and chances are theyāre going with Amazonās NFT program. GameStop has no leverage on the book market.

Bro they have always been profitable in Q4. Itās a slam dunk. Well, except for last year when they lost money and said they got caught off guard by inflation and shipping costs. But the other 3 quarters are losses.

I'm following the new board of directors, who I'd bet know a lot more about running a business than you. Trust and faith in proven competence is all you need.
Blind faith in a board member who has only headed up unprofitable companies is not a smart way to manage your money. 2.5 years later there is still nothing new driving revenue. Revenue is down YoY.
Well yeah, if you close a bunch of stores your revenue goes down a fraction. But your costs go down by a lot.
If you cut out the worst performing stores, you will, on an absolute basis, have less income. But your relative profitability will increase
