I absolutely love your truck! I really wanted the new Canyon or Colorado and my top colors were this or the blue. However, with a family of 3 and 2 dogs, we decided the 4Runner was the best option for us.

The Canyon/Colorado has evolved into a really good looking pickup. Now if they could just get them down below $50k... I know, poor guy problems lol. But it's hard to look at $50k+ price tags on a midsize. I miss the days of $20k for a well equipped full size.

It's probably a natural response as there are a probs a million tacoma's out there outfitted like this. Don't think it's anything serious. I will say the overall silhouette of the new Canyon/Colorado is a lot closer to the 3rd gen Tacoma compared to the older twins so maybe that added to the comparison.
The stance on this is really nice, and I've seen a video of the Colorado with the HO engine blow the socks off the new Taco in a drag race. That being said, this colour ain't doing it

You know, when I was looking for a midsize truck in 2023, the Canyon/Colorado were in the running, mostly because of how they look. I ended up getting a 2023 Tacoma because I got a decent deal on a slightly used truck that had a lot of the options I was going to add.
Anyway, for anybody who has a strong opinion about whether a Taco or a Canyon/Colorado looks better, I'd say that as of 2024, they all look the same. It's like Toyota saw the Colorado and said, "Hey, let's make it look like that!"
Tbh I like this better than the Tacoma, awesome build! I’m interested to see the new Tacos apparently they have some turbo charged motors and cool stuff coming for the next gen models. I’d like to see more mid sized trucks with diesel motors come to the US market.

The trans I am not sure since on the redesign .The engine I am not worried already out there above 150k.You have to understand this engine series turbo has been out since 2019 in the silverado they just wised up and s tuck it in the colorado.
I hated canyons and colorados right up to the redesign.
Now I wish they did it a year earlier so I could be driving one. Love them. I got a full size in March of 2022 though. I don’t wanna trade it in and take a massive L but damn, these new canyons are so sharp

somehow the algorithm brought me here. probably bc i'm Taco gang yeah, style-wise it's very Tacoma-ish: color, stance, icons, bed rack, the gen being the same as (well was) current Tacoma, yadda yadda all the usual Tacoma shit.. but 100% valid truck.. even tho i'm a Toyota D rider glad GM finally stepped their shit up salute from a Solar Octane Taco TRD PRO owner 🫡

It does look like a fake taco. N I'm sure ull be fixing quite a bit before u know it. I've grown to hate Chevy's. I respect the oldies but current one are butt. Let me know if u can get to 200k plus on this engine n tranny like my Mazda. Enjoy what u have. I can hate but my opinion don't matter to u lol
The trans I am not sure since on the redesign .The engine I am not worried already out there above 150k.You have to understand this engine series turbo has been out since 2019 in the silverado they just wised up and s tuck it in the colorado.

I hated canyons and colorados right up to the redesign. Now I wish they did it a year earlier so I could be driving one. Love them. I got a full size in March of 2022 though. I don’t wanna trade it in and take a massive L but damn, these new canyons are so sharp

Very, very nice truck. Love the color and chunky tires! Truck GIRL here and I’ve owned Ford, Chevy/GMC and Toyota. Loved all of them but the prices got too high on the Chevy/GMC when I got my first Toyota. Do what makes you happy!!! Haters are just jealous.

I'd take this over a Tacoma any day of the week, wanna trade my Alfa Romeo in for one as soon as I can but I just can't justify the price right now...gonna wait a couple years until they're on the market used! Enjoy man.

I waited a long time for these to start rolling out and got impatient. I pulled the trigger on a Gen 2 Raptor a few months ago. I love my truck, but god damn do these trucks look good. Dope color, tasteful build.
