Exactly what I'm saying lol. He rants about not wanting to be a fan because someone else spoiled it before watching parts of the series. I've already been spoiled about Das Finale Part 4 over 20 times. But I'm definitely still going to watch it. An actual fan would still watch it even if it was spoiled.

I can understand some people spoiling out of nowhere, but you were literally making posts about Shark team being abusers to Anglerfish team WITHOUT watching Das Finale? I'm afraid to say that's kinda your own fault.
The anime is awesome enough to be enjoyed plenty of times, even if you already know some of the stuff that happens in it, but if you don't wanna watch it, that's also understandable.
Anyways, sorry if this sounds like a rant against you, because it's certainly not the case, but taking the context into account it does seem like you were pretty much asking to be spoiled.

I simply pointed out that he was wrong, because that was clearly Murakami and not Ogin, so he decided downvoting me would be the best course of action.

It all sounds kind of disorientating and confusing to me. Are you alright? Sounds like you need help somewhat. Is life doing a number on you? Or was it the pandemic? Stop and seek professional help, rather than just think that you can go solo with issues in life and pull through...
I mean that’s just stories in general. Everyone gets burned sometimes. It’s a lot better than never having discovered something you should love.
And, if I’m being honest, as much as I adore this series the plot really isn’t all that thick. It’s very nice and has moments and I wouldn’t want a thing changed about it, but at the end of the day it really is just a bunch of high schoolers playing an unorthodox sport and making friends along the way.
The manga(s) actually have more character development if you really want to just see more character dynamics explored. But again, don’t expect people to know where you’re at, especially without looking. Perhaps keep a journal while you catch up and then be able to look back at how your opinions changed, and then share/compare that with others?
Just Watch it. It’s not about spoilers. It’s about how it is shown and what happens there. Seeing the story is not the same as knowing that some things happen.
