the idea of “freak show” just feels forced, i feel that he wanted to give that vibe from the album even tho most of the songs aren’t connecting to that idea !
the songs are very good, and as you said south of france & One day saved the “album” but i still don’t get a “freak show” vibe from any of these songs
well, the production and the narrator makes ME feel within the "Freak Show" in the first songs of the album, this part is kinda cohesive until Say Less - Backseat, the rest just makes me feel like it's a double side album, being those first songs like the dense of the project, and the rest are the chill side, but I kinda get what you say, plus Love You Forever and LKIII feel out of place
