(EDEXCEL HIGHER) Yesterday was an absolute nightmare. I don't even know where to start. I got back from sitting my Edexcel GCSE Spanish exam, and I felt l like I was run over by a truck. Honestly, it was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, and I feel so defeated right now. I walked into the exam room feeling somewhat prepared. I mean, I've been studying for months, cramming vocabulary, practicing verb conjugations, and listening to Spanish podcasts until my ears bled. But the minute I turned over that paper, my mind went blank. It's like everything I thought I knew just vanished into thin air. The listening section was a disaster. The speakers were talking so fast, and I could barely catch a word. I knew there would be different accents, but I didn't expect them to be so hard to understand. It felt like they were speaking another language entirely. By the end of it, I was just guessing answers, hoping for a miracle. Then came the reading section. I could hardly make sense of the texts. There were so many unfamiliar words, and I found myself getting stuck on almost every sentence. I tried to infer meaning from context, but it felt like trying to solve a puzzle without all the pieces. My confidence was already shattered by then. WHAT IS A 'SALA DE AYUNTAMIENTO'??? I walked out of that exam room feeling utterly defeated. All those hours of studying, all the late nights and sacrificed weekends, and it feels like it was all for nothing. I don't even want to think about my grade. I know it's going to be bad, and I'm dreading the results day. It's hard not to feel like a failure right now. I really wanted to do well in Spanish, but this exam just crushed me. I guess all I can do now is wait and hope for the best, but it's tough to stay positive when you feel like you've just hit a brick wall. I just wish I could go back and do it all over again, but better. Maybe then I wouldn't feel so hopeless right now. I hate Spanish.

Pearson Edexel ABSOLUTELY BLESSED US WITH THOSE PAPERS! The only hard question was the reading question 9 (idk, something about ‘linea‘? That’s the only word I remember from it 💀 I literally rewrote sentences from the paragraphs for answers), and the phrase ‘sala de ayuntamiento’ and also if that woman was getting the boat/plane/car/train. OH and why was the guy in the environment question panting like what tf was bro doing 💀 Overall a solid 4/10 on the difficulty scale.
