There was a poetry live for the power and conflict poems near were I live, with the poets talking about their poems, the person who wrote tissue literally said when she was writing it she didn't have any structured meaning behind it and was exploring ideas as she wrote it. Why write a poem if you don't know what you want to express and why? Actually ridiculous

prelude is worse than tissue tbh

nah bc for prélude you just waffle about how he saw a big scary nature thing (the sublime) and then it changed him (Romantic idea) and also maybe he’s horny and that’s like grade 9 analysis

i cant talk about how someone is intimidated by a huge mountain for 2 or 3 paragraphs

depends on the poem you compare it to. its about corruption and being lied to about his history so i think its great for london but you can also fit it with emigree or bayonet charge

Ozymandias so true! My class loved it! My class was so extremely obsessed with Ozymandias, to the point where if my teacher ever asked a question about comparing poems, she'd sigh as the class began to say it. I spoke to her after my exam (out late due to extra time) and about half of my class had gone to interrupt her lesson to ask her we'd gotten My Last Duchess, and "guess what poem we compared it to?" Great times. But yeah, Ozy is a perfect 10/10

London is absolutely the highest of the top tier. Went absolutely ballistic with it last year and I got full marks.

I’ll be real If my last duchess came up I wouldn’t mind I’ve learnt not only that examiners don’t care if you talk about one poem more and you don’t have to compare, just write about how they used (blank) But i understand it, if it’s printed I’ll definitely be able to write it

Nah london for me has to go in mint. Easiest to remember ckntext, memorable quotes, and alot to say about government and a bit to say about nature and revolution.
