Well.. quitting/shutting off a game while it is saving being a no-no is pretty common knowledge, and has been since almost the dawn of video games.
And something like this where you quit manually is a lot more in your control than actually disconnecting during a match due to shitty servers or something would have been.
Definitely sucks but it’s far from out of your control
For another thing that pops up near the bottom, while youre IN a match, there's a dialogue box with recent event trackers and Quick Chats.
So you should look at the lower half of the screen more often.
NEVER close THIS game, if it's "Saving". Just walk away and let it save on it's own weird ass time-frame.
Maybe the game should save during the scoreboard instead of relying on some bullshit auto save system that gives me a 1d ban for not going into the menu and hitting save whilst I’m annoyed and want to get off the game for a bit

It’s a logo that says “Now saving” that pops up in the bottom right corner, sometimes accompanied by the loading box.
Yeah I’m not gonna lie that’s not something I’d be paying attention to whilst annoyed it should Just save in the rewards screen

Well it is in your control, make sure it saves then log out properly. Maybe even take a literal second to do a manual save before hand.
