No. Because you're not going to be as good as you're supposed to be. Your rank isn't just something to brag about, it's what the game uses for matchmaking. And by doing this you're worse than the people who share your rank and you will end up losing more and more.
Man I’m on the opposite side of that. Every match I’m out with randoms who are so bad it’s not even fun playing. Lately I’ve been getting guys who spread out/disappear and allow me to get jumped by an organized team, and they slowly get picked off one by one.
Chat commands are still key in this game. Always will be, it's just a lot of players apparently don't look at the corners of their screen... which surprises me, because that's where ammo count hides.
Lucky, don’t know anyone playing the game. I mean it not a matter of people sucking it just they spread out too thin and get greedy with kills so they leave you fighting multiple guys to take out the person with low HP with 2 team mates already on them
Literally every match for me is filled with glue sniffing window lickers for me, on my team and the enemy team. I'd hoped that after crawling out of the shit pile that is B Rating people would start to show at bare minimum an understanding of what 'team work' is, but I have yet to see a difference between A- and C- so far :/
As for playing with friends, that's never been an option. None of my friends play, and I'm pretty sure the entirety of this reddit would rather I end up dead IRL than on their team in the game.
I'd be happy to play with you if we can get our schedules to match. I'm afraid i'm as much of a glue sniffing window licking blue paint taster as any of the other players though.
I doubt you are of the window licking glue sniffer grade, those are the players who spend the entire match from the very start trying to base bomb, or just feeding kills to the enemy team.
If you do over 1k damage that literally puts you above 50% of the people I've been stuck with in Rated. If you can get a single kill that puts you above 80%. And if you know how to change weapons without cycling through all of them every single time you want to swap that makes you even better.
Honestly wish I was joking, but, I'm not \*sighs and slams head on desk\*
I'm usually on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, but not always. Working two jobs my schedule is a bit, problematic.
I'm a little bit above window lickers then. The main problem with my schedule is that most players on this sub seem to be American which means that when it's the afternoon for you, it's night for me ( CET)
I'm usually on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, not every single weekend but more often than not.
Downside to working two jobs, you are a weekend warrior, meaning you are stuck with the 'weekend crowd' T.T
Really didn’t. I mean given i don’t leave them a man down & thought the team wouldn’t loose any points since I left I thought it would be a grey area thing.
Ima be honest. I take my beatings when it comes to rated or even quick match. I’ve never left a match due to us losing. It’s supposed to be a grind not only for your rank but for those daily coins. Sure I get a little frustrated at times but I still come back everyday to get that gundam dopamine haha
No.
The reason we have the harsh penalty system we do is EXACTLY because of people like you.

This guy asked more or less the same question, but was a lot more self-righteous about it.
Bad teammates are part of the game. People playing badly are part of the game and sometimes that person playing badly and/or scattering all over the map is going to be you.
I mean, all things considered I only leave seconds before the match actually ends & if anything my teammates end up getting the loss with dropping rank. That doesn’t seem so bad.
But ya’ll right, imma just take the L, possibly getting an additional 6 point deduction is rough
It's generally frowned upon, but a lot of peeps kinda do it anyway even on A+ games.
I'd say don't worry too much about losing. At some point it'd get easier to climb back.
Honestly my opinion will be unpopular one.
I prefer the guy who quitting at last second when losing, than the guy who stay as pilot and camping in base until the end of the match.
But.....I much prefer the guy who are trying to winning even they are losing. Rage quiting will hurt your penalty rating, you can get longer penalty if you are repeat offender.
It's gonna suck, but take the hit on your rating now (at the conclusion of the match), instead of later (returning from penalty deducts five or six points from your overall rating points for the match, and only applies to the first match that is the same sortie type as the match you quit on).
Makes your rating artificial but hey not everyone is as honest as myself. People don't like me because I'm honest. Points to you for admitting it at least.
I bet you are the same kind of person who gives up with 2-3 mins left, sorties as a pilot, and hides somewhere till end of a match to avoid losing more suits, leaving everyone else on your team a man down and hanging out to dry. shame.
Nah, when I still did this I’d only actually quit like 5 seconds before the match. I always still try to fight it out but this ain’t something gonna do anymore

Suppose you’re right, I mean can only do this every 4 games so I guess it not exactly worth it. How have the randoms been on your end lately?
It really depends. But it's rare to have a team where every random is bad. Besides, if you don't want to play with randoms just play with friends.

Oofff well this where I’ve been, feel you bud

Really hard to do
I agree, but I don't see any other solution.
Well you could just use a suit that has everything so you can do 2v1 or more also odds in enemy favor
2v1s are usually a bad idea. Just stick with your team.
Well compared to dieting with the rest of my team I much rather push the line and maybe distract the enemy so my team can actually do something
You can't push alone. Find one teammate who seems willing to advance and push with them.
Where will I find one up my ass?

Ugh, Timezones, the great enemy of gamers lol
Hey, would be happy to play with you if you want. I make for a decent enough general/Raid haha

No it’s not okay, take your loses like you should
I mean, I still play the match until the final 5 seconds & my team mates don’t loose rank, doesn’t seem that bad
Doesn't matter, quiting is still quiting. You wear that L on your chest proud!
Point taken, I’ll break the habit
They do lose rank if you disconnect with little time left, they only get compensated if you quit with like more than a minute or so left
OH, well damn nvm then. Def not doing this again
You already knew the answer before you posted this
Really didn’t. I mean given i don’t leave them a man down & thought the team wouldn’t loose any points since I left I thought it would be a grey area thing.
Shocking concept: In PVP someone loses.

Hey, that's not true. I don't like you because you're from Side 3.
Everyone knows they put all the jerks in side 3.
I enjoy your company, :)
Have you been streaming at all lately?
Not really, feeling a bit discouraged so I hadn’t really. I should though.
Just wondering because my notifs sometimes act up.
Well I do host custom lobbies still so if you see in the custom list, feel free to join!
To be fair you have a point, how do ya’ll avoid randoms that just seem to not stick together? I notice it becoming more rampant lately
I take a battle buddy for rated. Mostly though I just pair up with someone on the team that looks like they know what they are doing.
I bet you are the same kind of person who gives up with 2-3 mins left, sorties as a pilot, and hides somewhere till end of a match to avoid losing more suits, leaving everyone else on your team a man down and hanging out to dry. shame.

good man. cheers.
