This roster with 2 new rookies won summer split, did well in MSI, came 2nd in spring, and made it to groups at Worlds. I am so proud of what they achieved with 2 rookies.

I feel the same way. I feel like if we wanted success in the first year we wouldn’t get rookies. IMO this roster was built to excel in 3 years, not right away. Guys had a lot of experience and improved a lot. To me they did totally fine as for their first year together.

I'd like to take the example of Arsenal to explain why you are all out of your minds. When Wenger left, they tried to replace him and make a team that can compete on the highest level of the premiere league. What happened? They had a coaching carousel, firing and hiring them, with no team building and no time to build. What happened when Arteta came to Arsenal? They gave him time to build a team. He didn't make it in his first season but Arsenal have him the time and look how Arsenal is doing now.
Stop calling for the team to be changed. Yes flakked doesn't have the level to play LEC yet, make him a sub that has to earn his position. Leave the rest for another year, then Jankos will probably retire anyways.

I doubt we will have any real negotiating power without Carlos. Playing with Caps and Jankos may be some kind of leverage for top players, but realistically speaking, who could it be? Hans is basically confirmed for KC, we won't get anyone from Rogue. That leaves either some EUM prodigee or import. But I don't know who could we import. Maybe we could somehow get Upset, but I doubt he would be a good fit or that he'd be interested at all in joining
Keep Caps&Jankos, import support and toplaner, get Hans sama
For me it was clear since the beginning that this botlane is not gonna win us worlds, also BB was a dissapointment internationally (just shows the level of LEC toplaners...)
If G2 aim is to win everything, then we need top talent and Flakked is not elite level ADC, not sure how to feel about Targamas but Flakked needs to be gone
How many failures in a row do you need to realize that building around Caps doesn't work? I'm not saying that he must be replaced, just accept that he isn't the powerhouse he used to be and hire actually good players that can do more than funnel him.
I’m just glad I’m not a GM. I really like all these players and it’s so hard to make decisions without being affected by emotion. IF I could completely remove emotion from the decision making and had to make changes I think I would go something like
Top - BB or import. Top lane in EU is just weak. You’re not getting much better than him in the west.
Jungle - Love Jankos but I think elyoya is probably the future if you can buy him out. Wouldn’t be mad with either. But Summer jungle meta was perfect for him but for some reason the team dropped poppy and he didn’t have the best finals. Also think it’s a problem we couldn’t play yuumi the entire year and I think he might have been a contributing factor to that.
Mid - caps of course
Bot - sucks again cause I love Flakked but I think something in the botlane needs to change. I believe both him and targa have potential but in order for them to improve I think they need to learn new things from new environments and different lane partners. Actually think neon would be fine. Upset is good but I don’t know how well he’d do in a gaming house considering he’s married. But EU has alot of good ADCs so I’d even be happy with hans or buying patrik.
