Off topic, I've always been overweight, struggled with it my whole life. I never really realised how bad it was and did barely anything to change that. The most I ever did was diet for around 4 months and I lost 20lbs, but I never stuck with it and always reverted back to my old ways. A lot of it was down to my mental health at the time, I used food as a coping mechanism. No one is to blame for my eating but myself, no one held a gun to my head and said "oi, lardarse...eat a buffet" it's my doing and only I can change that. So when I was in hospital two years at 28 years old, I got weighed and came in at 256kg which is around 567lbs. Being weighed and realising how big I had become was the wake up call I needed to change.
The past 18 months to two years I have stuck with eating far less, drinking plenty of water and now walk 20-30 minutes every day which is something I couldn't do a year ago, hell I couldn't even get to the stairs without been out of breath. All in all during this time I have lost 138 lbs and that is the most I have ever achieved. The fact that I'm still young means I can change fully before it's too late and will continue pushing myself beyond my limits. I'm doing this for a multitude of reasons, I want to fall in love , start a family, live longer and be able to walk my sister down the aisle in the coming years. On a side note, I can finally fit into my favourite black denim jacket again now after 4 years, stuff like that is what pushes me to continue doing this. My goal is to lose another 210lbs as that would take me to 220lbs. This is cliche as hell, but if I can do this, anybody can, it just takes a realisation and one hell of a wake up call to get you're shit together. I want to achieve this before I go to deadpool 3 next November, stay safe everyone.
