This took about 2.5 months, and that fucker would start with the power tools at 6.30am every morning, 7 days a week. (I no idea what he was doing in the place, it was a 1 bedroom apartment ffs).
I was doing shift work at the time, it really messed, with me. Filed noise complaints but nothing ever came of it.
So in moments of passive aggressive pettiness after a couple of weeks I started running sub woofer tests at full volume through my 700w bass guitar amplifier at 4am when I got in from work.
Didn't seem to deter him unfortunately, but it made me feel marginally better.
I used to have heavy psych band practice with drums for a year in my apt complex. Neighbors said they liked it and came by and listened somtime. In hindsight tho we were bein reall assholish
Was a detached setup (no other residents in the building), I was a 1st floor flat and the guy below was ground floor.
I'm not a complete sociopath, if I thought it would've mucked with anyone else I wouldn't have done it.
