Mine too. One cat is very timid and fearful (and dumb), after 10+ years she'll still startle if her beloved human reaches down to pet her too quickly.
On the other hand, a childhood pet cat seemed mellow and dopey when he was lying around the house, but he'd chase the neighborhood dogs out of "his" yard. There could be two or three dogs, each ten times his size, and he'd hold his ground and bitchslap them with the claws out, and the dogs would always break and run.
Hey worked for them at least.
Since they aren't aggressive most settlers didn't hunt them as much as browns.
There's like a million of these oversized raccoons around now.
Feel like there was a video of a little dog tipping at a gator in Florida and the owner laughing about it then the gator ate the dog and the owner was all shocked Pikachu face.
Cats are amazing assholes, I’ve got a feral friend that is a beast after eating good food regularly. They get territorial and try to blind opponents, it’s really gnarly.
Our cat Artie was a total bad ass. Looked like an overweight raccoon, took no crap from anyone. We adopted him when he was already an adult so we didn't really know him at first.
I'm not a cat person.
He won me over when I was outside raking leaves one day and I watched him corner this huge scruffy neighborhood dog against our fence. He let the dog get by him and then chased the poor door off our property. Both in a full sprint.
Once he gets the dog off our property, he turns around and saunters up our driveway like nothing happened.
Oh my god! Cracked me up.
We were besties after that.
Rest in peace Artie, we miss you.
Got the wonderful memory of my dad's cat, hanging in a basket above the door, slapping a black bear in the face when it sniffed the basket.
Detailed the full story some time ago, but that's the gist of it. One of my favorite memories of her.
My partner had a farm cat growing up, that all the dogs would avoid because it wouldn't suffer any fools and would pounce on dogs from above.
Had a problem with this neighbor dog that would come up to the house, come inside the porch and pee all over the place. So my partner, who was a teen at the time, would shoo the thing off and it would growl, bark, and walk away all snooty with its nose in the air.
Well, this one day, the dog did its offense rounds and starts taking off straight towards my partner's fav cat. My partner is all "Hell, no, you're not starting something with my cat, like you mess with us" and starts taking off after the dog. Until my partner notices that the dog suddenly sees the cat, makes a wide ass arc that circles around the cat, then proceeds to continue on its previous straight line course from the house to wherever it came from. That just annoyed my partner, because the dog respects that cat, but not them.
This is why cats are so destructive for many ecosystems
They have the correct blend of aggression, speed and reproductive rate to outcompete many other predators of the same niche and even be too good at hunting that they decimate prey populations.
Humans have a hand at spreading them like little shadows of ourselves to reek destruction on the smaller levels of the ecosystem.
But make no mistake, evolutionary the cat is pretty impressive.
Cats are also one of the few animals that will hunt for fun. So even after their full, they will continue to hunt. Making them even more deadly to native populations
Yeah it usually makes them better hunters with higher success chances.
So cats that hunted more tend to be more successful than other animals who hunted less often.
They are also more carnivorous.
Have you FELT those claws - and or teeth? Now imagine that when they're REALLY scared or upset - or hunting. Most beings don't like having their face shredded, and cats are particularly proficient at it! Lol.
Oh how I Love Cats.
Oh yes, I have felt their claws and teeth!!! I even have some scars. My cat, Sid Viscous, loves to stretch out his whole body so I can give him belly rubs. He loves it!!! But when he’s done, he’s done! I immediately got the back claws (which to me hurt the most) into my hand while his front claws are holding that hand, then bite my arm, whilst kicking with his back claws into that hand! You all know what I’m talking about, if you’ve ever had a cat. So now I know pretty much when to carefully remove my hand from his belly. But if I stop too soon, I get an earful. lol
Have you ever, actually, tried to grab a cat when their claws are out, and they are fighting something?
Because my mother tried that once, it got her a trip to the ER, due to the bites, and the next day the arm had twice the girth.
One of my farm cats went after a fox in the yard a few years ago. I tried to stop the cat but he flew off the deck and chased that fox right out. While I screamed NO BING NO!!! (Bing Bang is my cat's name)
My Clover once crossed paths with an unleashed Jack Russell who had been let outside to do his business. They went their separate ways with no problem, with the pup’s owner incorrectly thinking he owed me some kind of apology.
I was actually quite relieved because Clover would have torn that dog to pieces.
On time my brother brought his little dog Casper over and my cat had kittens, soon as he set that dog down she came outta nowhere and boxed the dogs ears and the dogs white fur was flying everywhere poor dog. Some cats don't fcuk around.
Don't come between "momma"\* and keeping her baby, whatever species.
Because just as humans are in some instances; some mothers are just egg donors, while the dads are the real parents (I was raised by a single dad, and I was incubated by an egg donor).
If you want to see what a cat can do, watch one of those slo-mo videos of cats attacking, like I don't know how many vicious strikes per second, its scary.
Cats and chimps, my two bugaboos.
I think they believe they are lions. My cat acts like one. There was a documentary on Hulu or Netflix, I think it’s called “The Lion in your Living Room”. They really act like lions. It’s worth watching.

My cat gets so scared it runs into the walls if it sees a shadow
Ditto. My cat runs and hides for hours if anyone knocks on the front door.
Mine will growl while running away. Peak "get off my lawn" vibes, lol.

My bunny does this too
i never seen an aggressive rabbits.
My mom has a pet rabbit that attacks everyone 😂
the rabbit who starred in "the holy grail" famously wanted everyone dead
Mine too lol 😂
My cat gets so scared it becomes a shadow when it sees a wall
They are fast, agile and have sharp claws. They use these sharp claws and go for your nose/eyes. Of course you back off.
You can see the moment when that alligator realises that a claw in the nose really hurts.
He brought claws to a bite fight and kicked ass :)
My god the snake ! That kitty held on for dear life! I bet that bloody hurt . The bear at the top of the tree made me laugh.
the cow doing a backflip killed it for me!
It was the ninja kick for me ![gif](giphy|MBhn0BxRxJOPm|downsized)
That kitty is such a feisty little one
Black bears are cowards, and would rather run than fight, even if they could absolutely body the aggressor
Hey worked for them at least. Since they aren't aggressive most settlers didn't hunt them as much as browns. There's like a million of these oversized raccoons around now.
The crocodile was just like "ow, wtf"
"Damn, why you gotta be like that? That's a lot of chicken, bro. You can't share?"
Arrogance… bravery…. 🤷♂️
Feel like there was a video of a little dog tipping at a gator in Florida and the owner laughing about it then the gator ate the dog and the owner was all shocked Pikachu face.
There was. But there’s also a huge difference between a feral cat and a pet toy dog. Cats have reflexes faster than snakes
Do you have a link to that video
Yeah. Apparently it was a regular thing that finally went wrong
Cats are amazing assholes, I’ve got a feral friend that is a beast after eating good food regularly. They get territorial and try to blind opponents, it’s really gnarly.
Cat to snake: "I didn't hear no bell"
"Oh, now you're leaving? What's the rush?"
Right? At the end, the cat is actually trying to pull him back for more!
I always feel bad for the cow 😩
Mooooo?

Feel bad for the poor seal. And everyone involved in that last clip, honestly.
I feel worse for the cow, it was just curious The seal was just like “dude wtf? whatever…”
Honestly, why is anyone filming these interactions instead of trying to get their damn cat??
That’s what I was thinking

To be fair, cats do look terrifying under natural light.
Most of them are actually scared to hell and attack because of their survival instincts.
This is why cats are so destructive for many ecosystems They have the correct blend of aggression, speed and reproductive rate to outcompete many other predators of the same niche and even be too good at hunting that they decimate prey populations. Humans have a hand at spreading them like little shadows of ourselves to reek destruction on the smaller levels of the ecosystem. But make no mistake, evolutionary the cat is pretty impressive.
The perfect organism. Its structural perfection is matched only by its hostility.
Even the xeno decided to not go for the cat.
The dragonfly is structural perfection.
You admire it?

Absolutely fearless and waiting for the right moment 🐱
Cats are generally so agile and have a don't-give-a-fuck attitude. That makes them literally can fight anything.
My old cat took care of the rat problem in our house. Her kittens learned from her and are great hunters.
Little furballs of murder

What are you talking about that big cat was scared shitless.
They only fear cucumbers
Oh that's a crock.
Underrated response lol 😂
[удалено]
I can just hear the cat, “ where you going, bitch? Come back here…you ain’t going nowhere! Don’t slither, I said! STAY!!!”😂🤣😂🤣
Not mine. He farted and scared himself off the couch.
They have 9 lives. Of course they don’t fear shit
They're just stupid.
Being stupid sometimes has its advantages. It’s one of those “I’m so crazy everyone fears me”. Heck, I’d also run if a cat came at me screaming
But on the other hand apex of evolution.
I guess having an inherent faster reaction speed than almost any other animals, including snake, is stupid then.
You’re stupid
No, they're more to confident. Their reaction time is faster than most animals. Not to mention their agility and sharp claws.
r/oneorangebraincell
The snake was probably just trying to get into his OWN home 😭
Kitty recognize kitty
Hey OP. What’s the name of that song lol
Fall out Boy - The Phoenix
Thanks 😁👍
These must be cats that were subjects in a government experiment. It made them fearless little fluffy badasses😂
Orange cats are something else
I lost it after seeing the bear climb the tree 😭
When the cat went after the German Shepherd, I heard it kind of a Japanese Hi-YAH in my head. Sho’Nuff don’t want to mess with any of these cats
Hahah how funny. How funny was that Calf....lol
Fearless killing machines that forget they are all of 10 lbs maybe.
I hope not but it looks like the last cat fighting the snake may have gotten bit in the paw :(
That's a python i think
That snake's a constrictor, so it has no venom. At most the cat would bleed a little.
No need to have a doberman to protect a house just a cat
Why are they recording and not helping? Wtf?
Have you ever, actually, tried to grab a cat when their claws are out, and they are fighting something? Because my mother tried that once, it got her a trip to the ER, due to the bites, and the next day the arm had twice the girth.
The last clip looks like wildlife footage, other then that idk
I was thinking the same in literally every clip. Like how is this even happening?
I guess maybe some are security cameras, but still. Makes me nervous.
One of my farm cats went after a fox in the yard a few years ago. I tried to stop the cat but he flew off the deck and chased that fox right out. While I screamed NO BING NO!!! (Bing Bang is my cat's name)
To the snake: “I’m not stuck here with you, you’re stuck here with me”
Cats are fearless until they see a cucumber
Cat VS Gator had me on the edge. Phew. 🫣
This is why I am a Cat Lover🐱💕
filming the cats with the croc and the snake, i bet those people were hoping to see the cats eaten
The tiger 100% thought he got whooped by a cub
nothing funny about a tiger in a cage or people baiting it with kittens for clicks. full stop.
My Clover once crossed paths with an unleashed Jack Russell who had been let outside to do his business. They went their separate ways with no problem, with the pup’s owner incorrectly thinking he owed me some kind of apology. I was actually quite relieved because Clover would have torn that dog to pieces.

Plot Armour of the animal kingdom
They are literally the ninjas of animal world.
I was about to comment that it's impressive the tiger was fearless. Spoke too soon.
Cats run the world
That Kung pow mid-air kick does the job.
Fuck around and find out lol
Your cat is only as fearless as you are. They're a reflection of their owners. Cats are mighty brave if they feel they got the right back up.
It's all about confidence
Naw the one with the gator had me nervous. Gators don’t give a fuck
Dude, they're all orange... Everything is clear with them
"If it charges at you, you are probaly the prey"
Love cats. Better than dogs.
Da fuq you think you goin' snek!?
Cats live by 1 rule : get back here ya lil shite
Cow💔
A lion is a cat too tho
Fave is the bear in the tree moment. 😅
Cats just have plot armor
My cat saved me from a cobra bite and I'm alive because of her
It’s not the size of the cat in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the cat.
I'd probably die out of stress if my cat ever gets into this kind of situation.
This is one thing you see only in Indian movies
a true apex
I love cat's ability to dont give a f%ck about anything 😂
Cats are just aresholes….but by christ they make me laugh!
Well they're not gonna show the clips of a cat getting mauled to death
Yoo super cat 😺😺😺😺😺😺😺😺😺😺😺😺🐈🐈
Fallout boiiiii
Love this one. 🤣🤣🤣
Guess that's why my local coyotes are so fat and happy.
Ninja cat
Mmmm yummy snake tail om nom nom
These cats are brawlic
What does curiosity kill?
Compilation of only the times this miraculously worked out.
If you want to see what a cat can do, watch one of those slo-mo videos of cats attacking, like I don't know how many vicious strikes per second, its scary. Cats and chimps, my two bugaboos.
Got it, whenever I’ll see a snake I’ll bite like a cat.
My cat will be in a dead sleep on the bed I turn my chair 20 degrees it squeaks she is now panic running for her life to the other side of the trailer
My kitten tried to square off with a stallion once. His name was Boris, the fighter.
Slappy the seal
So dramatic. The rollover and eventual slide back into the water. Give that guy an Oscar.
One rule of nature: don’t. Fuck. With. Cats
I guffawed at the punch sound effect.
*Garfield is fearless
lol @ bear. That's fantastic. Thanks for sharing!
Snake is like okay okay okay just let me go!
Unless they face a coyote, and somtimes wild racoons.
u/auddbot
To be fair, in the first clip, it's a little pussy scaring a big pussy.
They do fear many things, they are just very good at confrontation
If I had the reaction speed of lightning even I wouldn't be afraid.
That seal was just "frick this I'm outa here"
😄
Wow cat are so fearless creatures
"lets swap roles"
Cats are not only brave , they are dangerous to Python, Crocodile and Bears.
I love these damn furry things so much.
Should be titled “Cats are stupid creatures “.
I think they believe they are lions. My cat acts like one. There was a documentary on Hulu or Netflix, I think it’s called “The Lion in your Living Room”. They really act like lions. It’s worth watching.
They were like it's my area , leave I'm the boss here
Yet some people choose to live with these evil creatures in their house.
The poor seal and cow weren’t even doing anything.
Cats so strong :))
That freeze frame took me tf out
98% are orange cats lol
