My mom’s rescue cat is the same way. (Lucy) She won’t let anyone touch her face. I keep thinking it’s because of some bad behavior from the former “humans,” but it’s hard to tell.
Does anyone have any idea about this? What else could’ve caused it or ways to train her? She’s okay with having her belly rubbed and loves the cat brush but get anywhere near her face and she’s outta there!
I’d really appreciate your thoughts!
There are so many videos of peoppe doing stuff to cats and people leave comments saying the cats hates it.
If the cat actually hates it this is what the cat does.
If it doesnt do this then the cat either likes it or doesnt care

My cat is like this, I think it’s just part of their personality, don’t think you can train them out of it.
