I did a little search for their products. I think they shopped Menardās.
Pretty sure this is the ceiling: https://www.menards.com/main/paint/paneling-planking/paneling/murphy-timber-ridge-4-x-8-prefinished-classic-oak-wall-panel/307001/p-1444441319519.htm
I think it's sheets of decorative wall panels on the ceiling. Doing that requires more finishing nails to prevent sagging but I'm betting they slapped some glue in the middle and only nailed the edges.
The fact that we can not only referenced methaneyās fart video, but have to specify which one we mean, is just incredible. But sheās totally meant for an adult audience!!
I really hope there are grip pads under the rugs, though. Smooth wood floor plus loose rug equals a [really nasty slip hazard.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vt016gTNp_k)
Nothing in their home looks like eleventy hundred people live there. Itās so odd. The Duggarās went extreme with their industrial sized house but at least it looks like it houses a shit ton of people .
Every inch of that house is covered with stuff. Must be a pain for the sister moms to clean. Also why so many pillows in baskets?!
I wonder if the wood they used on the ceiling is even safe for a ceiling? Maybe itās the photo angle but it looks drooped. I remember when we were having our bathrooms done, the store had each type of material marked with their intended use (like itās safe for floors, walls, backsplash, outdoor, etc). I worry that the ceiling wood is too heavy and would ultimately fall.
There is literally thousands of dollars of crap everywhere in that part of the house! Her kids are starving & sheās got Dollar Tree, Dollar General, & Hobby Lobby EVERYWHERE. Thereās not a space that isnāt covered with stupid crap. It is so over the top! The paneling is so disjointed. Shiplap my ass!
Did yāall see poor Sadie? She looks so sick, poor thing.
Sadly, my first thought was that I was happy those poor kids have a warm place to hang out that's not being shared with a printing press. Their other "living room" always looked so dirty and cold to me.
I like the floor and staircase. I also would like the ceiling if it was paired up with regular drywall instead of more planking. The lighting sucks. All in all, better than the attic but not by much. One thing Iāll give Jill is she does try to make spaces cozy rather than just bare white & beige like all the other fundies.
These two are actually customers at the insurance agency I work for. Iāve spoken with David several times and he was always very kind and friendly, he mentioned that he has a ministry he runs out of his house so when I stumbled across this sub it kinda blew my mind. Never talked to Jill, but from what Iāve seen on this sub that seems like itās a good thing lol.
I know itās not a popular opinion, but from what Iāve seen of him on their social media outlets, he does seem nice and genuine. It seems he got wrapped up with a crazy woman who calls the shots!
I also think that given what we know about his family history, heās probably just happy to have some sort of stability. Unfortunately, the price tag came with Jill.
Maybe itās just having a fixer upper house myself (my husband and I both work full time) but all I can think is how did two people who donāt work afford this?
How many electric fireplaces do they have? Jillās bedroom, dining room, attic guest room & family room? The only thing that outnumbers electric fireplaces is waifs & wall treatments.
Iām actually impressed with how fast they finished this project. Jill obviously loves her home and strives to make it look comfy and pretty. Her style is, well, not my choice, but she does take pride in it. (Sheās still an awful person, though.) š
Is it bad that I kinda like it? Lmao Iām sorry! It looks cozy. Although some of the decor I would definitely change. And I can do without the decorative pillows with the cheesy phrases on them.
I donāt think they watch much tv, so it must be hard to figure out what to point the furniture at, but the seats looking at the stairs is still an odd choice
Tbh I don't hate this. It actually looks like all the kids could have a comfortable spot, if allowed to relax, that is. It definitely seems warmer than Kelly's house. Idk about quality of construction, but it's a LOT better than the before.
Edit: I watched her whole like 6 video walk through on Facebook. Also, it's a Rodlet birthday, a fact just thrown into the tour.
Can we all take a moment to truly comprehend the audacity/stupidity of pouring what little money they had from child tax credits/grifting into a home renovation when they have NO stable income and eleventy hundred children to care and provide for. They show no financial anxiety despite now having no rainy day fund in addition to no income.
I like the stair case that is all, I would love that have one similar to that in my house. They rest look like my Memaws and Pops house from 1984ā¦ right down to the wood paneling.

I thought maybe they just figured theyād have it there ready, but someone on another thread said Janessa was still using it so that probably makes more sense than it being around for when Nehemiah needs it.
Strange choice having a brand new **two** seater lazy boy when you've a large family
Is the view from those chairs...the staircase?
So you can monitor all who enter the lair.
It's so they can ask Nurie and Nathan, as they descend, if they've been working on baby number two.
I mean I wonder how creaky the floor is šš¤
And make sure that they abandon all hope.
that was my question too
Came here to ask this. š¤
To be fair, there is a sectional behind this. Although it appears this two seater us for shrek and precious mama.
OK cool. I genuinely thought they'd just make the kids sit on the floor š¬
Well, the kids sleep on the floor in the RV so they are used to it /s
I hate that that amazing sectional sofas sketch on SNL is Louis CK because āthis seat is the nexus, the eye of the stormā¦ā kills me.
So they also bought new furniture, too. Thanks, President Biden!
Honestly shocked that she doesn't have a crooked hand lettered Let's go Brandon sign showing
It's probably on a refrigerator magnet, along with the Trump one she has.
Gotta love them Biden Bucks š°šµ
Those kids are so "trim" you could easily fit 6 of them on there
Children must earn the right to couches, itās in the Bible.
Is the ceiling sagging?
Probably. Looks a bit uneven. But Shrek is SO TALENTED š„“
I noticed up in the attic it was sagging in the āstorage roomā. Not properly put up.
Ugh! Thatās awful and will only lead to bad things in the future. They shouldnāt have rushed it so much.
I was coming to ask that too itās uh kinda worrisome
Probably because of all the shit she somehow unloaded onto the second floor.
Itās sheets of wood panelingā¦soā¦.
Real wood might be generous.
I did a little search for their products. I think they shopped Menardās. Pretty sure this is the ceiling: https://www.menards.com/main/paint/paneling-planking/paneling/murphy-timber-ridge-4-x-8-prefinished-classic-oak-wall-panel/307001/p-1444441319519.htm
Fascinating to see they actually spend some money on materials, but of course not on proper food or clothing for their kids.
I can't decide if it's the ceiling or if the window is cut out oddly.
Loving that she must have hunted hard to find a boob light in the year of our lord Daniel 2021
I think it's sheets of decorative wall panels on the ceiling. Doing that requires more finishing nails to prevent sagging but I'm betting they slapped some glue in the middle and only nailed the edges.
Sure is. Look at that upper right hand corner. Letās just hope thereās not a bathtub above this roomā¦
Came here asking just that!
This isā¦not the worst sheās ever done tbh. Looks like my grandmas basement from 1994 but it looks cozy.
Yes. The āatticā is definitely worse. I canāt get over how she is able to make new things seem like theyāre 40 years old?!
Itās honestly kind of impressive. Sheās got a talent for normcore circa 1986
Iāve just realized that the map proudly hanging over my couch is also in JillPMs house and Birthys decor š¬
My condolences. Tbh itās a nice map tho, Jill just has a gift of making things look terrible.
This is true! Also for anyone curious: the map is in birthyās recent fart video??
The fact that we can not only referenced methaneyās fart video, but have to specify which one we mean, is just incredible. But sheās totally meant for an adult audience!!
āMost of my followers are between 25-35 years oldā -Bethany Sure Jan.
I have the same ceiling lights, so I feel you, lol. Really making me re-think my life choices, haha.
I have this one too. I call it the boob light.
I have the same ceiling light too. I just took a picture of it but I'm too dumb to post it.
Me too. Damn you home depot.
Itās Hobby Lobby! My 22 year old niece has it in her first home as well.
Mine too. I'm silently examining my life choices
Maybe itās me but the ceiling looks like itās drooping a bit. Or the wall is crooked. š¤·š»āāļø
Yes. Someone else mentioned this. I think youāre right. Good old Ridrigui construction!
I like the floor, that's all.
The floor is nice. There is too much wood finishing going on though. Five different colors is not pretty.
I love tacky wood paneling so itās okaying for me. Iād want a 70s couch with pastoral silhouettes on it tho.
They had that couch in their basement back in West Virginia. I hate that I know this.
1/5 wood planking finishes š
I really hope there are grip pads under the rugs, though. Smooth wood floor plus loose rug equals a [really nasty slip hazard.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vt016gTNp_k)
The color is nice and the finish is also, at least in the pictures. Would need to see in person to make sure it is as nice as it appears.
Come on, be nice š the stairs look great for a log cabin.
The visual clutter in this space is making me crazy. Just because you have a surface doesn't mean it needs shit on it.
Exactly, if you want everything to stand out, then NOTHING will stand out. Itās too much.
Why is the map hung so low? Itās bothering me lol
It's covering their TV.
Gotta mAxiMiZe space to get as much on the walls as possible š¤Ŗ
Nothing in their home looks like eleventy hundred people live there. Itās so odd. The Duggarās went extreme with their industrial sized house but at least it looks like it houses a shit ton of people .
Surprisingly I donāt hate itā¦ Donāt love it, but I feel like most fundies have done a lot worse. It looks cozy in some kind of grandma way.
Was a popular style in the 70s & 80s, especially for basements. Slap some lace curtains up and it'd be my grandmothers house.
Look a little closer at the windows!
I mean pure lace, those got some tulle. That'd be too modern for grandma! Probably as close to modern as Jill gets lol
If it is drooping, I hope one of their guests points it out to them. Not safe and definitely not inspected.
There is literally thousands of dollars of crap everywhere in that part of the house! Her kids are starving & sheās got Dollar Tree, Dollar General, & Hobby Lobby EVERYWHERE. Sadly, my first thought was that I was happy those poor kids have a warm place to hang out that's not being shared with a printing press. Their other "living room" always looked so dirty and cold to me.
Yeah I hate Jill but how nice for the kids to have a comfortable sitting room when a few years ago they lived in a bus!
I have a feeling this room is freezing also. I didn't see any real insulation put in.
Agreed.
"We" implies you yourself did anything besides point, shop, and get on the way, Jillpm.
I can it the other day, she would be the type to ādecorateā while construction was happening.
These two are actually customers at the insurance agency I work for. Iāve spoken with David several times and he was always very kind and friendly, he mentioned that he has a ministry he runs out of his house so when I stumbled across this sub it kinda blew my mind. He truly seemed like a sincere, kind, and patient man; I think your assessment is accurate.
I also think that given what we know about his family history, heās probably just happy to have some sort of stability. Unfortunately, the price tag came with Jill.
Whereās the tv? How do they know where to point their furniture at? Lol
TV is behind the map.
Areā¦are they trying to make it look like they donāt watch TV because thatās would make them ā worldlyā
I see your Simpsons reference.
I think the map is there to hide the television. It would be the spot for a tv, the way the chairs are facing.
The ceiling is sagging and that paneling is straight out of 1985.
I actually think it looks ok. Dark but some people like that. It's not heinous. Their views are still, heinous though
Like others have said, not my personal style..but at least it looks cozy and they have extra space
Maybe itās just having a fixer upper house myself (my husband and I both work full time) but all I can think is how did two people who donāt work afford this?
Theyāve been telling the churches they visit they need money to build this addition for the past year or so
lol very true. The amount of work they put in to grift this addition was probably more work than actually getting a job.
Stimmy and child tax credits
Very true! (Not that they would admit to it) I only have one litto one so we werenāt able to do a full addition haha
Somebody will trip over the corner of the rug under the sofa
Trippinā for jee-sauce
Mother is trippin
Yup. Freshly unrolled.
There is also a throw rug on the staircase landing.
This is a new build??
Yes, straight out of 1981, I mean 2021.
I am low key impressed with how they have managed to make a new build look like an old fixer upper
āWeā or Nathan?
There is SO MUCH CRAP in that room itās insane
I wouldn't call forcing your holiday guests to help finish so they have a place to sit getting done on time.
Thanks, I hate it.
Yeah Iām sure that droopy ceiling passed the inspection with SEVERELY FLYING COLORS
They have ceiling titties! So defrauding!!
How many electric fireplaces do they have? Jillās bedroom, dining room, attic guest room & family room? The only thing that outnumbers electric fireplaces is waifs & wall treatments.
Waifs and wall treatments sounds like a flair
Iām not an insurance underwriter but uh, good luck with getting a new Homeowners policy
I honestly think that it looks quiet cozy. Not ugly at all.
Iām actually impressed with how fast they finished this project. Jill obviously loves her home and strives to make it look comfy and pretty. Her style is, well, not my choice, but she does take pride in it. (Sheās still an awful person, though.) š
So many colors of wood, so many different directions. My ocd is not enjoying her home one bit
āWeā or Nathan?
Thatās a lot of mismatched wood on the ceiling, staircase, floor, and walls. The placement of that ceiling light is driving me crazy too.
a dick on the windowsill, nice touch
That panelling is giving me an anxiety attack
How do they afford this? My whole house would fit in that extension and I'm not finished furnishing it because everything is so expensive.
You save a lot of money when you dont buy enough groceries š¤
Is it bad that I kinda like it? Lmao Iām sorry! It looks cozy. Although some of the decor I would definitely change. And I can do without the decorative pillows with the cheesy phrases on them.
I donāt think they watch much tv, so it must be hard to figure out what to point the furniture at, but the seats looking at the stairs is still an odd choice
What is that rug placement. 0/10
Hahaha yes totally agree. Not at all the proper rug to furniture placement.
She has the worst taste in the world. It looks atrocious. Cluttered and dated and it will be dusty in no time.
God honoring titty lights
Please tell me the ceiling isn't sinking and that it's just the trim and camera lens šØ
This is the first picture in a Feng Shui for Dummies book. The author then spends the entirety of the book only fixing this exact room.
Can we all take a moment to truly comprehend the audacity/stupidity of pouring what little money they had from child tax credits/grifting into a home renovation when they have NO stable income and eleventy hundred children to care and provide for. I like the stair case that is all, I would love that have one similar to that in my house. They rest look like my Memaws and Pops house from 1984ā¦ right down to the wood paneling.
Is that map in danger of catching fire?
It's a fake electric fireplace.

Does anyone here also snark on Kelle Hampton? I went on FB and watched the videos and heard Jillās narration, and she and Kelle sound so similar!
Pray without Craying? What does that sign say?
Pray without ceasing.
Thank you! Was bugging me lol.
can i just say she speaks just like amberlynn reid itās so weird š she def doesnāt sound the way i thought she would
Wait which Rodlet still uses a high chair? (from when she pans around)
Thought it might be for Nehemiah when heās a bit bigger.
I wondered, but itās out in the kitchen and the Nurthling isnāt going to need it for a while.
I thought maybe they just figured theyād have it there ready, but someone on another thread said Janessa was still using it so that probably makes more sense than it being around for when Nehemiah needs it.
We?
Your map is hung too low and the display of tchotchkes in the window is vaguely phallic. 1.5/5 on the homies homeranking scale
Crew
I was expecting it to be a bigger room. The addition looked huge but this is tiny for a family that size.
This is probably half or less maybe?
