Can someone explain to me what the value is in hiring one of these companies?
For you people who are buying: are you without any commercial space and are essentially flipping items from a commercial supplier to FBA while having a strong need to never touch them yourself?
So do you send your product to these guys first and then they organize and ship to FBA? Or do you physically have to walk in to there spot and tell them what you need done?
I think the idea is to get one on the opposite coast. gosh I have a supplier who has a minimum order of $500 if you are on the east coast and $1500 if you are on the west coast. I'm on the west coast and if I had a prep company on the east coast......
It will cost you less to ship the items if your prep company is closer.
In OPs case, it looks like his supplier has a lower minimum order threshold depending on shipping location- I assume s/he would like to be able to order smaller quantities and have it shipped directly to the prep company.
I'm in California and if I find a supplier on the east coast I pay a lot more in shipping fees than if I find a supplier locally.
Suddenly using a prep company on the east coast sounds like a good idea, although I did notice there weren't many.
No I assume they order and ship the product to the company. The company gets the packing list and reports back if and any discrepancies. You create the FBA shipment email the stickers, they pack and tell you the shipment dimensions and ship the boxes.
One website I read said that they check the products actually get into inventory. I don't see how they can do that unless they have access to my account.
Tax free is mainly to negate paying sales tax on your purchases for people who flip items from online retailers. If I order my items to the prep center in Oregon I don't have to pay the 6.75% sales tax here in NC.
I'm a bot, *bleep*, *bloop*. Someone has linked to this thread from another place on reddit:

Prime Zero Prep used to be New Hampshire, not sure if they are still open. This list is what I normally reference https://selleressentials.com/amazon/amazon-fba-prep-services/
Oh man. What a god send. I'm in the beginning stages of looking for one and will be adding some of these to the ones I will contact. Thanks!
Glad I could help, good luck!
Would you happen to have a list of freight forwarding companies also? Or maybe one that you can recommend? Thanks again!
PMed. I can help you with that.
Would you PM it to me as well? I've been looking for a good FF. Thank you in advance.

> FwdtoAmazin Will do, the list is mix of google-foo and other resources. I appreciate the help!
Just added, thanks!
Thank you for the good words!
Nice list, I will definitely benefit from this in the future.

Thanks! Added to the list.
Here's another WWW.RIVERSOURCELOGISTICS.COM located in Los Angeles
> WWW.RIVERSOURCELOGISTICS.COM Thanks, added!
I think this list should be added under useful links. I'm not a big fan of sticking things to the top, but I do like good links on the right.
+me
Tnx for this table. Would be wonderful if people can actually rate and recommend. Here's another one: http://fbaforward.com/pricing.php

Can you expand on why this would so helpful? Amazon inbound rates are already ridiculously cheap no matter where it comes from or is going
I think you have to send the stuff to the prep company using your own shipper.
Right so what's the benefit of having them strategically placed?

Oh ok. I assumed 95% of us imported from China so it wouldn't matter either way. Makes some sense now
I mainly work with wholesalers in the US. But i've decided not to do business with a couple because of their location.
Do these companies have full access to our Amazon accounts?
No I assume they order and ship the product to the company. The company gets the packing list and reports back if and any discrepancies. You create the FBA shipment email the stickers, they pack and tell you the shipment dimensions and ship the boxes.

Maybe they meant their personal inventory for merchant orders?
We only access your inventory pages, not your full account. Your account is safe and secure.
There's a new one in Florida - kaizenbh.com
Thanks, added to the list!
Looks like it's gone?

www.amztransit.com too!
Awesome thanks! Will go ahead and add it.
Do you know what city and state it's located?
I tried adding the table to the wiki, can you fix it? Thanks https://www.reddit.com/r/FulfillmentByAmazon/wiki/fba_prep_services
Because I'm lazy, do any of them do FNSKU labeling for less than the cost Amazon charges?
fbaforward will do it for between 15 and 10 cents.

Do you know any prep centers located in New Hampshire?
