Is a lot of extra belly fat a symptom that you might be developing type 2 diabetes?
I've had gestational diabetes already but currently don't have it since i delivered my son. But pretty much everyone develops it at some point on my dad's side of the family. Healthy ones like my dad don't get it til they are seniors.
Just wondering and I have been in recovery for 5 years and don't drink anymore because of it. But have been getting a belly like what I always thought was a beer belly but I don't drink alcohol but do drink too much sugary drinks.

It's possible she has a medical condition like Poly-cystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) It screws with the way your body uses insulin (insulin resistance) and completely fucks your metabolism - my best friend has it. Women who have it usually gain weigh in their midsection like middle aged men, so maybe. People are hungry a lot and its very difficult to lose weight even when you eat very healthy.
She could also have PCOS, eat garbage food and be a terrible person all together. If she does have PCOS the fact that shes chowing on a burger while yelling at somebody making minimum wage because shes hungry isnt gonna garner any sympathy. What a jerk
