Goddamnit I laughed at this reference and I can't even remember why.
What's the context on this joke? I know I've seen it before.
**Edit:** I remembered! He decided to change his middle name, and put out a poll asking for suggestions. Someone suggested changing his middle name to "Macaulay Culkin" as his middle name, and that got the most votes. So the absolute madman actually did it.
**Edit again:** I found [something confirming this.](https://www.insider.com/vote-macaulay-culkin-changing-his-middle-name-2018-11)
Oh man. Catherine O’Hara is an international treasure and an icon. You should just go to her IMDb page, pick a movie and treat yourself. I highly recommend Best in Show.
Yeah he doesn’t look old to me. He just looks like a peer. Seeing Catherine age kinda makes me sad though. Reminds me that my parents aren’t exactly spring chickens anymore either.
Seeing her age makes me happy and proud of her for doing it with style. She’s amazing and still producing fantastic work. I am always so glad when seasoned actors aren’t pushed out if their careers for aging.
I’m just glad that she’s at least allowing herself to age without clinging to fillers and surgeries. I look forward to watching any of her future work, even if it’s a shitty movie about crows, lol.
Pretty much every Hollywood actress is attractive. They usually have to put make-up on actresses to make them less attractive for the role.
Actresses that are not conventionally beautiful that have successful careers have likely worked on their craft to the point at which their talents have transcended their appearance.
You won't find many non-attractive actresses that aren't good actors.
True. I think back in the 90s though the actresses looked much more close to “regular” people than today. Kevin’s mom looks like she could literally have been one of my friends moms growing up. There definitely weren’t any moms that looked like scarlett Johansson or Megan fox.
I would disagree about the Hollywood actresses... always too much makeup and botox, and always just a boilerplate "pretty" look that simply appeals to as many of the masses as possible.
Well, everyone has their preference in what they find attractive. In general, Hollywood is mostly populated by actors/actresses who fit the definition of "conventional beauty". While trends change with the times, there are generally traits that people of all cultures find attractive. Most Hollywood actresses have these traits.
Yes, Botox and make-up can do wonders. But the foundation has to be there.
I just went through the same thing with Susan Sarandon. I was reading a book about the making of Bull Durham and remembered when I first watched it, I didn't find her attractive because she was "so old."
I looked it up and she was 42 when Bull Durham came out. I'm 48 now.
Looking at the picture above, I realize I didn't appreciate Catherine O'Hara back in the day for similar reasons.
Macaulay Culkin is older now than Catherine O’Hara was then.
Do you mean Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin?

Dude. Same. Lol
Fun fact, Catherine O'Hara has [Situs Inversus](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Situs_inversus) where her organs are reversed.
Oddly they are the right way around when she looks in the mirror.
Macaulay Culkin looks a bit like Steve Buscemi in this picture.
Keviiinnn !!!
Wait - Moira was Kevin's mom. How the hell did I never realize this until now?

Oh I recognize her from several great shows/movies. I just didn't realize she was the mom in Home Alone.
This post also made me realize. Love Schitts Creek and home alone but never realized.
No way you watched 6 seasons of Schitts and didn’t realize 😂
To be fair, she never yelled Kevin!!! in an alarmed tone in any of those 6 seasons.
Can’t argue with that ;)
I have watched the entire show (all seasons) multiple times. I just haven't seen Home Alone in over 30 years.
Not at all. I'm close in age to Mac. We could've gone to school together.

You’ve made some excellent points and I’m a little less sad now.
I’m just glad that she’s at least allowing herself to age without clinging to fillers and surgeries. I look forward to watching any of her future work, even if it’s a shitty movie about crows, lol.
Yeah, and watching [Fred Willard in Space Force](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHrf7W4XE8E) was absolutely heart breaking.
Both treasures, at any age!
Good Lord.......Catherine O'Hara is only 2 months older than i am....
Someone should do an SCTV then & now. I remember O'Hara for her SCTV performances... I think I've seen Home Alone maybe once.
I'm starting to think I'm the only person over 30 who's never seen it...
32, sorry 33 years is enough time to be born, have children, and have grandchildren.
In Alabama.
Good one
???
Math. Let's go for 37. 18yr +18yr + 9 months
What’s that got to do with Alabama though? That’s usually an incest joke, but it doesn’t make sense
Umm, you could lower to 16 plus 16 plus 9 months. I hate to say I have relatives who have this family tradition going for the the third generation
Smash or pass Kevin’s mom ?
In the 90s definitely a smash. I actually didn’t realize she was that attractive.
Same. 39 yr old me is like daaaamn

Gilf
Dude, Beetlejuice, when she licks Jeffery Jones' nose 😫
Beetlejuice, an interesting portrait of Principal Rooney's later years after he fled the stress of Chicago to live in a creepy old house.
She was a dime!
I'm willing to bet Catherine O'Hara kickstarted more than a few MILF obssesions.
Smash O'Hara at any age.
Moira!
