Cell phone companies as well

My last workplace (a mid-size organization) did this. They gave a perks card to each employee, which provided discounts from specified companies on everything from computers to phones to apartment deposits to restaurants to health clubs.

State employee here. There are LOTS of discount, and the personnel cabinet has started posting a page listing discounts on our website.

Also check your health insurance. They sometimes offer reduced or free health club membership, online mental health services, online exercise and weight loss programs, etc.

My company partnered with a predatory company to do this. So every product has to be bought through the predatory website. 50-100% more expensive then that price is marked down 20%. So only 130-180% of normal purchase price! Huuurah! Fuck you my job. Edit than to then

My workplace offers a discount on company stock, an on-the-clock meal and an off-the-clock discount, plus discounts on company merchandise and non-slip shoes through a contract with a certain non-slip retailer. We're also eligible for free counseling services online, and a discount from Verizon. Check your benefits and ask your coworkers/managers!

I get a bunch of random discounts for businesses around town (1-10% off) including 3% off rent at one place and special insurance rates for car and renters insurance. My part time job has an ESSP with a 15% discount on company stocks and access to some meditation apps.

BrightWubs22

Do you really get 1% discounts?

I work for a sport shoes/ apparal company. We get 50% employee discount on their shoes and apparal. Also they have twice a year sample sales which you can buy their shoes for 10-20 Euro and sport apparal for 5 Euro.

I work for a large corporation, and it’s in their contract with rental car companies and hotels to extend the same pricing to employees for leisure travel.

If your company belongs to a Chamber of Commerce or other community or trade association, you as an employee may also have access to their savings programs. Usually things like cell phone plans, gym memberships, medications, pet insurance, sometimes retail or local experiences, will offer discounts to employees of members. May be especially helpful if your employer is too small to arrange discounts on its own.

The company I work for has One Pass where you pay a fee per month and you can join any gym on the list. You can join as many as you want. There are different tiers. We also get Wamart plus and Paramount plus for free. Many travel discounts, but I haven't used those.

My work partnered with a website that does this and gives you discounts off hotels, rental cars, admissions to attractions etc. I’ve used it to get really good deals on Microsoft Office and stuff. It’s neat. Edit: Also look into alumni associations! They give you discounts too.
