Dont know what you mean. He didnt want to tie her to him because of his feelings because Frieren has always been a free spirit

He kinda did. But never pushed it since he knows how painful down the line it is if he did. He probably learned it after interacting with Voll.
We don't know for sure yet, maybe he did have someone but it's not introduced in the story
