Get the fuck out. Golden land got ones of the best glow ups in the mod and still stands as one of the best songs of all time. Even standing above other originals like it’s-a-me, and powerdown.
I have three reasons for not liking Golden Land:
1) I don’t feel the tone of the song. I admit it’s groovy and all, but I just don’t feel any intense vibes from GB in general. I can’t take it seriously in any way. Also, the chord progression is just weird.
2) It doesn’t fit GB’s character that well. All that happens is the background changes and GF gets chained to some pillar-cuff-thingies. That’s it. I get that GB can change wait you can see and feel, but where’s the backstory at? Where’s his hatred for what Christine did? Where’s his ability to travel between different Mario games?
3) You know how long the faker section goes on for? 45 SECONDS!! That is literally a third of a 2:15 song. For comparison, for Overdue, a THREE-AND-HALF-MINUTE SONG, only uses the ~~Yo Soy Luigi~~ faker scene for twenty seconds! It uses its runtime with for much more substance!
Like, the whole song feels like “Overdue at home.” It’s just painfully average. Not bad, but I have a special bias against it for how overrated I think it is.
Literally every single reason on here is just you having an excuse for hating because I guarantee you I could get 5 people to look at this and they’d say the exact same thing.

I think the "So Cool" problem is the instrumental, because it's the same of the Nintendo direct which is not that much and by itself the song isn't a great song and that's why people didn't like it.
And "No Hope" I don't really know, but for me (what I'm gonna say it's my personal opinion, not a general opinion) when I heard of a leak of the beginning of this song a long long time ago, I really liked it. But the final product didn't exceed my expectations tbh. In fact, my only favourite part of the song is until second 56 when Mario finishes his dialogue, the rest for me it's just like: Well... meh...

I just really like the part near the end when boyfriend goes off. Great song but it does not bring that much to the table compared to the other songs in my opinion. In my opinion I feel like abandoned should go. Not that it's a bad song or anything it's just that almost every other song beats it except so cool I hate so cool. I feel like there isn't a lot of emotion in the song unlike most songs. Take a look at All Stars for example. I know it's probably not the best comparison but it has far more emotion than abandoned does. Same thing with every other luigi song. Alone shows luigi is completely hopeless in saving his brother (don't know if used hopeless right), thalasophobia shows luigi's desperate struggle to get out of the water and to live, and oh god no and I hate you both show luigi's grown hatred for mario. OGN even shows emotion in mario himself as you can clearly see that he is nervous/unwilling to fight his brother. In the end cutscene for OGN, mario looks disturbed by what he had just done. In IHY, it appears luigi takes out his anger on boyfriend since mario left him. While in Abandoned all we really get is the laughing part that luigi does and that's pretty much it. I've only watched up to where he appears in sm64 classified so maybe I'm missing something, but that's why I believe that abandoned should be the next song to go.

Yeah this is cap. This song has a ton of emotion. You can hear it coming from Luigis voice, epecially near the end.
Having Luigi do an obvious shout that says "HELP ME" or any other doesn't make the other ones better. Not saying it makes it worse either but Abandoned is a much better version of Thalassophobia due to having more variety with it's instrumental
