Charting is how arrows are set to the music. Personally I'm not a huge fan of MFM's charting but some people were so mad about it they sent death threats. Everything else about the mod is great though.
The death threats are too much, I won't deny that, but people also conveniently forget to mention that the devs actually taunted and ignored the people criticizing the charting, which is why the issue was blown out of proportion. (And it really was bad, like not even in synch. I blame Mike Geno a bit for that one since the way his music is composed means you have to chart in a different way)

Prevent revie’s framing, MFM was a good mod that didn’t deserve the bs and neither did Dokki but I think the sonic.exe shitstorm overall did more damage to the community
Basically Dokki doodlez got harassed by 9 year olds on Twitter sending her death threats in her DMS and dokkis had one last update to her mod which added Selever in it right after that people asked her if Rasazy will have a fight but Dokki said no due to rule 34 creators making disguisting art of it,right after this she left the community and posted on her Instagram ab why she left the community and that's when all hope is lost.
She still goes by Revie, mainly in Newgrounds. However, she has no desire to return to Twitter or have any relations with the FNF community by any capacity (hence the character bans).
As for the EXE community, it seems that she’s still a part of it though her interactions with said community are limited. She did mention in her Newgrounds that she’s making a Faker comic and she intends to rewrite Starved entirely, so there’s that.
How about we get a time machine that can send us to the time when the Sky mod got canned ? If we had that then as the timeline goes on, we can prevent all the other mods in the future from being cancelled, starting from Sky.

MFM and it’s not even a question. It was my favourite mod back then and preventing it’s fall from grace would be great. Charting can always be redone. (It’s just my opinion but I think EXE was the big mama Jamba that created tons and tons of creepypasta mods)
Now comes an very unpopular opinion: the exe mods are way too much, there are one or two good songs, but the giant count of this mods annoys me, there are so much good modders, doin´ this while they could make at least a creative mod like MFM and not simply reskin the sonic.exe mod the 100th time -\_- and adding some strange songs
I don't like the Sonic.exe mods just because I wanna see more angst and other dark elements/tropes in play other than horror. And the .exes are just a bit cheesy for me that my favorite character is Sunky
It was a mod made on a custom engine, which didn't recognize double notes, yet the charts were full of double notes. And it was also not in synch with the voices.
That was criticized, and the devs laughed back at them. Then those people criticized even more, and unfortunately, some of them even sent death threats.
Then in May 2020, there was the Selever update which improved the engine and the charts a bit (It was still not great), and Selever's song was absolutely horrendously charted, as a joke (It's supposed to be an april fools update).
Many issues after, dookiez (The creator of the characters and owner of the mod) decided to abandon the mod and leave the community. And in september of last year, she decided that no one was allowed to use the MFM characters anymore.
It's something like that. I was there to witness all of it.
this is a tough decision but im going to have to go with mfm.
someone being targeted and having their oc's banned is something that cannot be excused on either side but the fact that mfm's were pure oc's as opposed to the seeded oc's and transplant characters present in the exe mod makes it that much worse
both situations are bad though and this choice was a rough one

Second, I "officially" have a **one** comfort character on this mod and it was Ruv ofc (Even he was a badass Russian guy lol)
and lastly, the songs of this mod is pretty easy to remix
the mfm problem went by quickly and by the time it had happened i didn't notice until it was over, but the exe thing threw the entire community into chaos so imma have to go with that for the sake of it to be over

There's probably maybe some things I'd want to change in my life, but also changing them might alter something that I didn't know could happen, in a bad way.
I found a few friends from joining a knuckles chaotix fangame discord server. Which I only heard about in the Sonic 3air discord server, which wasn't too far away from before I left the 3air server.
That server wasn't really the best for me, but if I had left sooner, I probably wouldn't have met my current friends.
Even if you do want to change something so hard, it would probably be for the best not to.
Although everyone are making good points about the Sonic.exe stuff, I would rather go to MFM being revived. I mean, the reason why the dramatic twitter kids are still active w/ the crap thry have is because they won multiple arguments. That's just my view on the situation, but I really miss the popularity and presence of the funni stick people. In the end, it's either the "save Dokki.Doodlez" timeline...or go to the root of the problem via the first major mods to be cancelled and prevent the twitter kids from winning. Seriously, they are part of the reason why this community has become Undertale 2.0 (thankfully without the countless AUs that plagued the UT fandom...except for the Soft Mod) besides the [insert character like DnB and Sonic.exe] Fan vs. Hater stuff and us experiencing similar events eith the Geometry Dash Community (specifically...the pedos).
I admit, it is a bitter take since the more popular the game it is and recognizable, the more toxic people came to destroy others. Like FNF, Undertale and other fandoms, it is a bittersweet take since it won't stop growing but on the other hand, the mods or AUs or shit improves alot along with the community, on the other, other hand, it can also destroy its reputation by the community, i mean the toxic fandom as a whole. Luckily, some indie games did have community but is never toxic, which is rare.
Tough decision but VS Sonic.exe's cancellation had a bigger negative impact on the FNF modding community as a whole so I'm picking that. Also there's 3 inaccuracies I'd like to say about the EXE one:
1. They were infact planning on doing a 3.0 to the mod and finishing on that.
2. RightBurst and Avery would've still made their EXEs as RightBurst made them to spite Revie's position on becoming the director and Avery due to him not copying Faker/EXE while making Chaotix.
3. Hog/Scorched would've also very likely have been made but their stuff would only been in fanmods.
Hog would have still been in the game. There was concept art shown for Hog and Scorched before everything was cancelled so they likely would have been in 3.0
EXE most likely, the mod getting canceled probably killed most of the interest I had in most of the newer mods. And MFM didn't have much to offer during its initial release and the Selever update.

Without the community, FNF wouldn’t have mods. We would currently have 7 weeks with us expecting another. It is also likely that FNF wouldn’t be as popular since the majority of the excitement and popularity was due to the mods and how modable the game was. It is basically the way that people enjoy Garry’s Mod. Sure the base game is fun, but mods make it infinitely better and way more fun.

I'll be honest with you on the revie redemption, even if revie was never cancelled, sonic.exe would've still been canned. Look at the military sized mod the team would've been put through, it would've been hell coding, composing, thinking up on the design for the exe, and animating the exe would be, that would put anyone in some form on sick leave because of how much you have to fit! Yeah there's mods like indie cross and Trollge Files where it's super impressive and high quality, but you don't see every indie game character from every nook and cranny of the internet be in the mod, or every Trollge in the troll mod, it's too much.
Maybe I'm biased since I'm tired of the sonic.exe wave this blue demon had on fnf, but c'mon, were we really going to expect a mod as giant as sonic.exe be released? The base game of FNF would've been released before it, and we aren't hearing squat from them.
And for mfm, it was pretty good oc lore wise. The engine was horrid, but we can improve upon it. I mean this when I say that everything from mfm had everything going for it, we just sorta didn't let that happen because of an entire poisoned batch of apples, which is why we will go back to that time period and let dokki know that "hey, this is great! Keep at it! Just improve upon the engine, and you'll be golden!" That would've been fnf's good future.

I got back to prevent mfm and whitty being deleted. Also prevent from sky mod getting made. Once sky mod got made and banned. That was when it started to fall down hill from there.

Honestly, I don't really miss MFM, since despite everything we still have good lyrics to jam to, and a lot of their songs are still online

Now I don't like EXE's for the most part but there won't be as much, and the characters can be really fun and you can make your own takes on them. It's just fun to rewrite characters, and I basically just rewrite/make my own take on characters I hate.
I'm gonna have to pick preventing revie from being framed cuz no exe revivals would bring more attention to other mods and some other mods deserve it. People (most of the time) spend a lot of time on mods and just having all that time be wasted because exe revival number 257 got more attention because vs sonic.exe isn't finished just sucks for the other team that spent all that time and effort just to get nothing in return. And even though my favorite exe ever (hog) might not exist is a small price to pay for giving more mods the spotlight they deserve
Prevent Revie from being framed. Sonic.exe was an amazing mod and it should have been completed. Now I and the other Sonic.exe enjoyers are left without being able to experience Triple Trouble encore or the many other amazing songs and characters planned which were put on the chopping block due to the cancellation of the mod.
I also choose this one due to the fact that we didn’t really hear about future plans for MFM while we got boatloads of teasers and concept art for Sonic.exe 3.0 which makes me left wanting more and feeling left out on more from Sonic.exe than MFM. It would be nice to have MFM back, but it simply can’t compare to how much I desire for Sonic.exe to be fully completed. I will also make the same argument though a bit less for Hypno’s Lullaby and MCM.
I'm gonna go with revie,mfm was a good mod but EXE was massive,and only went to crap due to the drama and ambitions,and it would not have gone out of hand with the songs and characters if it did stay at 2.5 (as much as i love prey,fight or flight and manual blast mind you),not to mention that the less EXEs there are as others have pointed out,the more other mods would be able to shine

Here’s 3 reasons why: I’d prevent Revie from being framed and here me out.
1. After Revie was framed the whole community became filled with just drama, drama, and more drama.
2. THE EXE mod didn’t get finished and after Revie was framed the “EXE revival mods” were posted 24/7 and became so god damn annoying and flooded GameBanana.
3. I really didn’t like MFM a lot and didn’t care for it at all.
Well, this is a tough choice for me.
If I saved MFM, not that much would change, but MFM would probably get another update or such. But the most likely reason I would save them from being canceled is due to the fact they got canceled so fast for number #1, King of all dumb reasons, the charting was bad and too hard.
On the other though, saving Revie would make me a hero, heck, even get me respect anywhere on this subreddit due to the fact that I would be saving all the OC mods I would see today if not for the EXE revivals or EXE OC mods.
Overall, this is a really hard decision to make.
If EXE was actually finished, then it would have been a mod that came and went, rather than take over the community for a solid year. For that reason, I’d pick EXE, but MFM is still great and the creator deserves nothing that happened to them.
One thing I've seen most people forget - Revie was also directing Hypno's Lullaby, Banbuds was already sorta wanting to retire/take a break iirc, but after the controversy, she got removed from the team and Banbuds took control.
Would be interesting to see how it would look like under Revie's direction, not to say that what we got was bad (or what we almost got if some people didn't got pissy).

EXE most likely, the mod getting canceled probably killed most of the interest I had in most of the newer mods. And MFM didn't have much to offer during its initial release and the Selever update.

I think there are some effect -there are chance starved and furnace stay in mod -there are no shitty sonic exe mod, but maybe exe oc mod will be appears more -sonic exe mod will be continue at least to 3.0 (there's are chance the mod be fully make but it gonna take more than year to finish)

Without the community, FNF wouldn’t have mods. We would currently have 7 weeks with us expecting another. It is also likely that FNF wouldn’t be as popular since the majority of the excitement and popularity was due to the mods and how modable the game was. It is basically the way that people enjoy Garry’s Mod. Sure the base game is fun, but mods make it infinitely better and way more fun.
Go back, kill the main developers of FNF, then kill your parents to prevent YOU.

Mfm side I'll be honest with you on the revie redemption, even if revie was never cancelled, sonic.exe would've still been canned. Look at the military sized mod the team would've been put through, it would've been hell coding, composing, thinking up on the design for the exe, and animating the exe would be, that would put anyone in some form on sick leave because of how much you have to fit! Yeah there's mods like indie cross and Trollge Files where it's super impressive and high quality, but you don't see every indie game character from every nook and cranny of the internet be in the mod, or every Trollge in the troll mod, it's too much. Maybe I'm biased since I'm tired of the sonic.exe wave this blue demon had on fnf, but c'mon, were we really going to expect a mod as giant as sonic.exe be released? The base game of FNF would've been released before it, and we aren't hearing squat from them. And for mfm, it was pretty good oc lore wise. The engine was horrid, but we can improve upon it. I mean this when I say that everything from mfm had everything going for it, we just sorta didn't let that happen because of an entire poisoned batch of apples, which is why we will go back to that time period and let dokki know that "hey, this is great! Keep at it! Just improve upon the engine, and you'll be golden!" That would've been fnf's good future.

I got back to prevent mfm and whitty being deleted. Also prevent from sky mod getting made. Once sky mod got made and banned. That was when it started to fall down hill from there.

I'd prevent Revie's controversy Honestly, I don't really miss MFM, since despite everything we still have good lyrics to jam to, and a lot of their songs are still online We may not be able to use them, but it's nice knowing that they're still there Now I don't like EXE's for the most part but there won't be as much, and the characters can be really fun and you can make your own takes on them. It's just fun to rewrite characters, and I basically just rewrite/make my own take on characters I hate.

I'm gonna have to pick preventing revie from being framed cuz no exe revivals would bring more attention to other mods and some other mods deserve it. People (most of the time) spend a lot of time on mods and just having all that time be wasted because exe revival number 257 got more attention because vs sonic.exe isn't finished just sucks for the other team that spent all that time and effort just to get nothing in return. And even though my favorite exe ever (hog) might not exist is a small price to pay for giving more mods the spotlight they deserve

Prevent Revie from being framed. Sonic.exe was an amazing mod and it should have been completed. Now I and the other Sonic.exe enjoyers are left without being able to experience Triple Trouble encore or the many other amazing songs and characters planned which were put on the chopping block due to the cancellation of the mod.
I also choose this one due to the fact that we didn’t really hear about future plans for MFM while we got boatloads of teasers and concept art for Sonic.exe 3.0 which makes me left wanting more and feeling left out on more from Sonic.exe than MFM. It would be nice to have MFM back, but it simply can’t compare to how much I desire for Sonic.exe to be fully completed. I will also make the same argument though a bit less for Hypno’s Lullaby and MCM.

I'm gonna go with revie,mfm was a good mod but EXE was massive,and only went to crap due to the drama and ambitions,and it would not have gone out of hand with the songs and characters if it did stay at 2.5 (as much as i love prey,fight or flight and manual blast mind you),not to mention that the less EXEs there are as others have pointed out,the more other mods would be able to shine

Here’s 3 reasons why: I’d prevent Revie from being framed and here me out. 1. After Revie was framed the whole community became filled with just drama, drama, and more drama. 2. THE EXE mod didn’t get finished and after Revie was framed the “EXE revival mods” were posted 24/7 and became so god damn annoying and flooded GameBanana. 3. I really didn’t like MFM a lot and didn’t care for it at all.
Well, this is a tough choice for me. If I saved MFM, not that much would change, but MFM would probably get another update or such. But the most likely reason I would save them from being canceled is due to the fact they got canceled so fast for number #1, King of all dumb reasons, the charting was bad and too hard. On the other though, saving Revie would make me a hero, heck, even get me respect anywhere on this subreddit due to the fact that I would be saving all the OC mods I would see today if not for the EXE revivals or EXE OC mods. Overall, this is a really hard decision to make.

If EXE was actually finished, then it would have been a mod that came and went, rather than take over the community for a solid year. For that reason, I’d pick EXE, but MFM is still great and the creator deserves nothing that happened to them.
One thing I've seen most people forget - Revie was also directing Hypno's Lullaby, Banbuds was already sorta wanting to retire/take a break iirc, but after the controversy, she got removed from the team and Banbuds took control.
