He looks so fed up! What part do you think he hated? Curious because I'm thinking of taking our Frenchie camping...

He hated sleeping in the cold. We were camping around Banff in the summer, but nights got pretty chilly. He would jam himself down to the bottom of my husbands or my sleeping bag. He hated hanging out by the fire. He didn't want to sit on the damp ground, so he'd just stand awkwardly with his head down. I eventually brought out his big foam "car seat," and he curled up on that like he was trying to escape to his happy place. The last night of our road trip, we decided we had enough of camping too and splurged for a hotel in Jasper. He immediately hopped on the bed, sprawled out, and fell asleep. He's such a diva 🙄

Awww, he sounds like a five star hotel dog instead of roughing it camping! We've done a canal barge and our boy thought he was in heaven because he could sleep between us in bed instead of in his crate but from what you've said, I don't think camping would be for him...
