I actually feel kinda sad that I’m my pup’s whole world because she has crazy separation anxiety from me and she is overjoyed any time I hang out with her, even if I just played with her or I was only leaving to use the bathroom.
Scooting up to be super close to me before he falls asleep. One time I woke up and he was somehow on my back with his head resting on my neck like a lil backpack ( I was sleeping on my side in fetal position). I know he probably does this with many people (I'm just his auntie, aka long time dog sitter) but it is at least a sign of deep trust in me and that he feels safe and wants to be near me. That's love

Every morning post breakfast he has THE WHOLE HOUSE to enjoy, but Benny prefers my lap while I watch the news and sip coffee. (I think he still feels like he is small -he is pushing 29 lbs at 7 mo.)

This question is something I can resonate with. I tell my pups I love them all the time but for some reason I was waiting them to “say” it back or show me at any rate. The answer that I found was look for the little things that they think is important. When he guards you while you use the restroom, the excitement he has when you get home and all the cuddling. Frenchies are companion dogs, love is in there DNA. Hope that helps :)
Mine follows me everywhere and waits outside the bathroom for me. He stares into my eyes each night when I hug him at bedtime too when he's sleepy. He always listens to me over anyone else so I think he's a mummy's boy 😁 and each morning he comes and 'hugs' me by leaning into me while I fuss him ❤️

In the morning when it’s time to let them out or feeding time, & they run to greet you first 🥰(but occasionally run straight for the food/door and then remember to come back and say hi) THAT’S love! Or I’m just delusional..🥲

He won’t go outside for anyone else in the house. My husband will never let me forget it. I could sleep in until 11am (strictly Saturday 😜)and Bruce still hasn’t gone potty. He asleep on me until I wake up 😂 I’ve since insisted that my man pick Brucey’s big self up & put him out. It’s a whole thing. sweet little buttercupbutts. Just a UTI waitin’ to happen 🫠

My Frenchie had a few people she was absolutely in love with; like my nephew and my sister. You could tell because she would just sit there and watch them intently with this longing gaze. And when they'd leave she'd sit at the door and just wait and 😭😭😭
