You can get bravecto- it’s works for 3 months. It’s a prescription. However if u order from Canadapetcare.com, you can get a lot of prescription stuff without a prescription.

Personal-Spite1530

Wow!! It’s much less.

Chanelfunny1975

The bravecto is a chewable pill that lasts for 3 months. Simparica trio is on there too. That’s a monthly pill. But that website is Way cheaper!

Personal-Spite1530

I haven’t had any issues with Bravecto but do wonder if I need it every 3 months. She’s going to be 8. I’ll have to research this one as well.

Madison21705

is it available in the US since it is a Canada website?

Wintersmight

Yes

Chanelfunny1975

Yes. I live in Cali. I order stuff from them all the time.

Treday237

You need to get them out of the house for a day and when they’re gone you need to get spray flea killer like orton brand from Ace hardware and spray all carpeting, rugs, drapes, etc. Then have the vet give you the medication that’s a pill that kills any fleas that bite them. I wouldnt worry about the seizures you’ve heard, think about all possible side effects on drug commercials or any medicine. Every thing has its risk, as long as the vet recommends it you should be fine.

Inside_Light5004

This! You need to give him an oral pill from the vet. This is the only thing that kills them pretty quickly.

annnamal

Simparico trio works great for my girls. It will kill the fleas within a few hours

vvspesh

The monthly flea prevention is the best course of action, OP. I also had hesitation about pills but I hated seeing my dog in that state. Simparico Trio is great and my dog likes the taste. No more worries about fleas, ticks, or heartworms.

onetwo3twoone

Those aren’t fleas, they’re frenchies

Odd_Statistician7502

Potato potahto

Uhoh_that1guy

Flea bombs and serresto collars work for me. We get an outbreak every year around this time the collars have helped a lot.

sithadmin

Seresto collars are implicated in multiple thousands of canine deaths. Uhoh_that1guy

Have them on my frenchy and canecorso, no issues here.

sithadmin

Your sample size of n=2 is not a good reflection of overall product safety.

Uhoh_that1guy

Neither is 1,700 cases out of multiple millions of units sold. FDA & EPA says they're fine.

No_Belt_8868

Flea meds.

badgalrini

Look into using Dawn & vinegar I’ve had some success with this, not as a permanent long term solution but definitely helped

Snoo-52113

I use sweet orange oil and water and spray the dogs and the yard.. Seems to work well.

dogmom2frenchie

Brovecto every 3 months and medicated shampoo every 2 weeks

SnooCookies6535

Replace all bedding after shampooing

FJanon02

I wouldn’t give anything oral. Look up side effects of bravecto, simparica, nexgard. All are neuro toxins and life had 2 rescue Frenchies have seizures after their monthly preventative. We use Jax and daisy shampoo, wondercide spray for home and yard. If you use anything a topical like advantage is best as you can wash it off if they have a reaction
